Thank you incredibly much for these videos bro! They are Clutch! Where do you order your replacement parts from? IE: Capacitors, Boards, Sensors, Fans, Heating Elements, etc.
@@PtacSolutions ok cool. Thanks bro! We have some old units at one of the properties that I over see. It has been difficult to find many of the parts that I need to keep them running. Many of the web pages that I have been looking for the parts that I need, are saying that the parts are discontinued and are no longer available. So I figured that I would ask you for your source of parts. Quite a few of our Amana PTACs are from '96. Thanks again for all that you do!
While watching this video i just remembered something i wanted to ask you because i have this trouble very often, Do you know why some units in order to make it work like in heat mode first you have to go to cooling and lower the temperature and go back to heat and raise the temperature in order for the PTAC to work? For example i have my PTAC on heat mode set at 74 but it does do anything so i switch to cooling mode and the temperature is set at 72 so i lower the temperature at 68 then i switch back to heat and the temperature on the membrane is 70 so i raise the temperature back to 74 and just start working right away, thanks for your help
My Amana ptac unit is only displaying on code on the display.. it will not go into settings by pressing the up and down and off twice.. the only time it does something is pressing cool and heat at the same time it faintly makes the on look like a dh.. any help?
Hey Dave. My name is Andrey I working on Highwall Miner CAT HW 300 in Russia. I have problem PTAC- blocking : Into entering the settings by pressing and holding the plus and minus pressing that Off button twice now we`re gonna hit up heat one time now we`re looking for : = = . Help me please.
Hey Andrey Try resetting the unit by turning off the master switch on your bottom left hand corner on the control board. Then, press and hold the heat and cool button at the same time for about ten seconds. While still holding the two buttons turn master switch back on and let the buttons go when the green light comes on. And try again to get into the settings
Hey Jose That code means that the power supply is to high for the unit. Check how much power is coming out of the supply and make sure you have the right volt unit
🔥 thanks my man!!!!!!!!!!!
EXCELEENT! I DEFINITELY NEEDED THIS. THANX HOSS!
Dude thanks for those videos you save my life😎👍🏼

Hello,
Thank you! I usually order the parts from straight from the factory, but there's other websites like repair clinic.

Hey Jesus
That sounds like it may be a bad ambient thermistor.. if you can try replacing it with one from a unit that's working, see what it does
@@PtacSolutions I will thanks for the advice

Hello
What code is the unit displaying?
Can a remote module be added to control this type of unit via cell phone?
Hello
Not that I know of, but you can connect a wi fi thermostat and do it that way

Hi Dave. After a while, the panel unlocked itself. Thanks!
My unit keep switching from cool
To heat do you know why?
Hey Ken
Last week I had a unit doing the exact same thing. I ended up replacing the board
Hey how you doing hey I’m getting an H1 Code can you help me
Hey Jose
That code means that the power supply is to high for the unit. Check how much power is coming out of the supply and make sure you have the right volt unit
What does "Ec" mean?
Hey Humberto
It's a programming issue, but when that code pops up, I strongly recommend to replace the board
@@PtacSolutions is there a way to fix it. I was turning off the digiair off from the unit but clicked something and Ec came out
