That's why I can't fully hate the guy, despite the horrible shit that he did, he just tried to cope with it the best he could through cartoons. But just like he says here, you can't bottle up emotions, and the trauma he experienced came out in one way or another, and it caused further pain to others.

John K is a genius, and when people say things like he should be dead or that stuff its just stupid, they dont even think what they're saying, even after john did all those things i still have a bit of respect for the man, beacuse after watching the perfection and work his team and him too putted into ren and stimpy is fantastic, the voices, the music and the animation, everything is so well made, and when people say things about him i dont like that at all, he did do really bad things, but saying things like hoping he dies its just dumb, his dad doesnt seem like a nice guy and its a bit sad seeing him talking so good about him, i mean its his dad but still, thats how he knows people are, even tho its not really like that, thats what he knows, about him being a perfectionist, being a perfectionist its not good when its something thats not so important, but he made ren and stimpy his masterpiece, he hasnt done anything as good as ren and stimpy ever again, and sure bob camp and more people were really important but john is the creator after all, so its not good wishing bad things happen to him

Kirk was a big part of the show's animation and influence to the show, and John has a lot of daddy issues! It's a problem! I feel bad for him in his youth, it must've been hard for him. He's so fixated on abusive anger from men. It really screwed him up. The stories he tells from his childhood confirm this. He's a very angry, depressed (he must have some form of depression because he has been through a lot of trauma from his own father and I could assume it's part of the reason why he's such a darn perfectionist on his cartoons because he wants to have control over everything/everyone around him and he chooses to repress it, then it builds up and he ends up looking like an explosive mess of a man. Nothing but anger and spite) person. It's sad because that's how he treated his girlfriends. The guy is scummy but I do feel bad for him in that regard.

John K is a perverted bully for what he did to those girls and his staff, but As somebody who’s dealt with bullying/ degradation I see how he became the way he is.
Other famous abusers like Harvey Weinstein, R Kelly and Onision had either d bag parents or were bullied, abused, emotionally knocked down in someway or another maybe more than one and a lot and in the way they treat others around them take back the power they felt was taken from them. This added with their loneliness and other childhood problems manifests them into insanity. We should hold them accountable for their actions but for future reference understand people since Lack of understanding is one of the biggest fuels of madness in this world

There's no way you can excuse his actions in that regard. What I also think on the other end is that in spite of that he did leave his mark on the animation industry and the overall history of the art form.
So yes, there are negatives that affect his reputation. But there were some positives that came out of it as a whole. The moral of the whole tragedy behind him is that while great art comes from the pain of an individual it is also as Robin Byrd put it, You don't have to inflict pain onto others to bring out the best of someone's talent which is essentially what people need to learn from here.

Surely everybodys parents are the same - John is just telling (possibly "over-telling/selling") it from his point of view. Everybody gets told off, always and forever.
I think that wimpy internet moaning idjits simply turn all this stuff into something it's not - make it more dramatic, so they can be more justified and "outraged" at John K... read nearly every comment on this video alone to see what I'm speaking of.

That's the kinda shit abuser-apologists and fake "alpha males" say to justify their own coping with the world around them. Nothing you say makes sense.

Sure, everyone's parents may have been the same, but most of them didn't grow up with such behavior like John K. Even before the internet became such a big thing, people who knew John K or worked with were outraged at him for his behavior. You can search up multiple official sources of John K being a terrible person towards others even before his allegations of sexual assault were confirmed.
