- Most modern mountain bikes don't come with kick stands.. Follow along today as I assemble a simple, yet functional, bike stand to keep my bike upright during cleaning and while in storage! Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see other DIY videos!
Wood specs:
2 x 20" (parallel to tire)
2 x 16" (perpendicular to tire)
Width between boards: 2.75"
-width will depend on the width of your tires

Do the 20" pieces go at the bottom or at the top? That is, are the 20" holding the bike tire or are they at the base of the bike stand? Nice build and thank you for sharing. I am currently looking to build a simple bike stand.
