Queen Catherine hasn't done many interviews since ANTM British Invasion and when she slid in my DM's commenting on one of my Instagram stories and of course had to follow up and convince her to do an Instagram Live with me! We all have so much to ask Catherine, so I get those questions answered in this video. I am so pleased to see Catherine looking happy and healthy, and as beautiful as ever. I loved her on BNTM, but I felt we barely saw her on ANTM, good pictures but awful edit. I know she had more happy and cute moments than they bothered to show us. She was treated poorly this whole cycle in my opinion, literally made her cry, picked the worst photo she took and got rid of her because she was in the way of their narrative. I wish her the best with her family! x

I sort of agree with Catherine about her coming across negatively in BNTM, and then she seemed so much more likeable in ANTM so think it was maybe the editing? I remember not liking Catherine and Alexandra on their season of BNTM and then wondering why after ANTM

@@MissAnnalieseDayes it must be so frustrating, I think most of the British girls were so much more likeable on ANTM, I really didn't like Sophie in her BNTM season. There must have been a bitchy brief for those who edited BNTM 🤷♀️
I liked Alisha better, on BNTM, than I did on ANTM. I didn't watch Sophie, on BNTM, but I've read that she was more likable on ANTM.
I remember Sophie saying that she was purposely more bitchy on BNTM because they liked the drama being like that. And that in ANTM she just wanted to have more fun. But I'm sure there were still bitchy moments lol.
@@kt8724 makes sense, they do seem to pit girls against each other more in BNTM. Think that was why I liked the British girls on ANTM so much because they all were so friendly and looking out for each other

You really nailed it with getting The Queen herself to do this for us! So amazing seeing and hearing her again, and I’m glad she’s living her best teacher/new mom life now. Also nice to hear that she doesn’t regret doing the show and that aside from a few things it was a positive experience that she looks back on fondly.

Ive actually been watching the Britains Next Top Models on youtube cause I loved british invasion and all the girls from britain so it made me curious how they did in their series. But anyway i recently watched series 4 and it made me love Catherine more. I think she did the best and I wanted her to win so bad. Also it did show alot of Catherine so that was great also. I wanted more of her on Cycle 18 cause i loved her photos and what they did show of her. And don't worry Annaliese I love u also!

Aww Annaliese, I love these videos. Thank you so much for keeping us updated with these detailed looks back, especially during this year when everything otherwise feels quite bleak. Used to be a huge ANTM fan (despite Tyra-nt's ego) but felt it lost its way after the early seasons. Having British representation helped make your cycle a firm favourite though and these girls are definitely the most grounded. Loving the content, thanks for producing it.

It was nice we got to choose our pics but overall I didn’t enjoy this challenge.... there’s a reason that each role on a shoot is a job in itself.

There seemed to be such a divide between the American girls and the British girls. Was it really that divided or did the producers just make it seem like there was a divide in the house?
There is a video where alisha where she was interviewed and she talked about how the way they were portrayed pitted the girls against each other but like she and ebony were super close and a lot of the girls actually got along. I think they did it to cause drama and drive their narrative of the americans vs Brits on everything.
Nope no divide at all! We got on really well with each other all the Brit v us was just for cameras

I always believed that Catherine should never have been in the Bottom Two for the Maple Syrup shoot in Canada when her photo had been one of the strongest pictures. Seymone’s photo that week was so bad and yet she was called high (4th place) when she sulked that she didn’t get picked during Go-Sees (and in front of clients).
If anything, Seymone and Catherine should have swapped places and Seymone should have been in the Bottom Two (again) for that episode.
A big reason Catherine was in the Bottom Two that episode because she didn’t book anything during Go-Sees but neither did Seymone.

Catherine was a high-fashion model and had a unique look. She just wasn't what they were looking for. And it was too bad they didn't showcase her full personality but it wasn't part of their narrative. Catherine was my favourite but the UK girls all were great.

With the magenta hair. It washes out easy. I have purple hair atm and i have to wash my hair less and in cold water to make it last longer. With the way Catherine's hair was constantly having product or maple syrup in it, of course it washout. Her hair he cool for some edgy runway maybe.
I do not get why didn't they redye it in the styling at photoshoots? Sure, it would be extra time, but her hair looked horrible with the washed out hair.
Or maybe they could give her few tubes of the dye with instructions? I mean lots of people dye their hair at home, hers was already bleached, so she could just brush it in, leave it in and have and have the look...

Watching Britain's version again, I think Catherine was a little misunderstood. The show seemed to be more about picking out drama than story arcs, it was bit incoherent at times and it was also just quite a strong season in terms of talent. Her pictures from it are amazing though, and I remember thinking that at the time. She was awesome on ANTM as well. :)
