    • @gtewewrrrrrr

@@noahprestel5324 My previous bike was an K3 SV650. I've testridden a lot of different bikes, like ktm 790 duke, gsxr1000, MV agusta rivale to mention a few. It's been a few years since I rode a gsxs1000 - but to try and compare it I would say it's not as flickable or maybe enjoyable on tight narrow twisties. It did have a lot of power but not the same feel as the MT with its triple engine and low down grunt. The seating position is also more upright and more comfortable - if I remember correctly. What I do think is that the gsxs1000 is more of a stable bike at higher speeds, and will probably pull away from the MT but I haven't looked up any numbers. Testride and find out what makes you smile the most! The MT is offering hooligan giggles but at the same time can be very sensible. If Michael reads the comments maybe he can give you some better answers :)

Just got my regular mt 09 in the US last week. The SP isn't out yet here, and I personally admit I wouldn't get it here as it makes it more than the gsxs 1000 here. I had tried to get a hold over gsxs 1000 but the dealers weren't rest working with me or getting back to me and I actually preferred the mt 09 but thought if I could get a deal on the gsxs I was gonna go for it. They both seem like great bikes but considering where I ride the mt makes more sense (just back roads that are slower roads)

Had the pleasure of owning a first gen MT 09 for about 14k kms and I have to say that at decent speeds and around town the bike was really fun and comfortable to ride, I even did 600km in a day and didn't feel too sore. But at a higher pace the stock suspension really fell apart which is a pity since that CP3 engine is a real gem. Really happy to hear they've finally fixed it.

I’ve been looking at both the MT10 and MT09 SP. In the US, the MT10 costs about $2,000 more than the MT09 SP. The specs and performance are interesting between the two bikes. The MT10 has 158.2 hp and 82 ft-lb of torques compared to the SP with 117 hp and 68.6 ft-lb of torque. The MT10 weighs 463lbs. compared to the SP at 419lbs. The MT10 gets 30 mpg and the SP gets 49 mpg. The MT10 is slightly slower 0-60 but slightly faster 0-100 according to most sites that report the stats. The MT10 has a top speed of 155 mph and the SP has a top speed of 147.9 mph. I really wanted the MT10, but it seems with the new modifications made to the MT09 SP it may be a more practical bike and almost as capable. The extra savings on the SP relative to the MT10 can go toward some of mods to customize the bike. I’m not getting very interested in the MT09 SP, whereas before I never really considered it as an option.

I've got a Brutale 800 that I bought new in 2016, because I love the handling so much.
It's getting a bit long in the tooth now, so I have to start thinking about what I want next.
I test rode one of the original MT09's before I bought the Brutale.

If this new SP version is everything you say, then I'd better take one for a ride.

If you’re going to ride track(or track-like pace if you have the luxury of secluded and properly cambered mountain roads) and want the most communicative chassis, front end feel, immense brakes, and linear power with a top end rush for cutting effortless laps, then go STRS. If you want a performance bike that hucks mondo wheelies and begs to be thrashed at all times, turning you into a jackass on the road, then buy this or the Duke 890.

The bike couldn't hold a constant speed and when leaned over and the throttle catches it was so scary for a non-expert rider like myself. Question, Wheeling kneeling on the seat, how do they get the front down after overcooking it?
My guess, some trick rear brake button easily accessible to the thumb.

The real stunt guys have that, the bike in the vid (my guess not) just be carefull with the throttle.

Do you guys think they will bump the Street Triple RS displacement to compete with the likes of MT09, 890 DUKE, Z900 and the new DUCATI MONSTER??? I mean they did it to the Speed Triple, they need to do it to the Striple

10 to 17 seconds of this video is all I needed to go buy me one of these….. always wanted one and I got it now. I just wanted to see a proper wheelie and listen to the engine to know I want it or not

Last year I thought I wanted an mT09 so I went to a dealer and test road it. and to me the bikes front end never felt planted or stable. when I test road the Triumph Tripple RS I really liked it. but its to pricey where I live, anyway its nice to know that they made mt09 better. but where I live there is no SP model.
