Preamble - Secure Liberty & Thoughts - secured when access to information is provided - RTI
Article 14 - equality before law & equal protection of law - Indian citizen, rich or poor can file RTI
Article 19 (1)(a) - Right to speech & expression - inherently includes right to know (liberal interpretation of fundamental rights) - democracy involves having transparency to public to obtain information regarding public authorities, provided it is of non confidential information (Sec 8 of RTI or Official Secrets Act) - not an absolute right

Public authority can refuse to provide info provided it gives reasons there to and shall be within the context of Section 8
Article 21 - Right to Life & Liberty - Right to Know What Effects our Lives & Liberty (Personal Liberty of refrained by a public servant)
Right to know why a person is detained or prevented - writ petition if no info given - Section 32 SC or 226 HC
Article 22 - Protection against Arrest & Detention
If warrant is issued against a person to arrest, he has a right to know the reason for such arrest. If not, then Writ petition can be filed.
Article 51A Duties of citizens can be performed diligently when complete information is gathered w.r.t. law, Legislature and Administration.
