The map is literally about progression and he spends half the time thinking about similarities instead of progression. If I could take only one quote it would be "How does this relate to these", that's not the point though, that's why.
Thinking about similarities is nevertheless a reasonable step in the process of figuring out the progression.
For example, let's say that you only have the four possible answers, namely: A. Your mom, B. Your sister, C. Shrek, and D. Your aunt. Even without knowing anything about the progression, it would be easy to rule out answer C (or, alternatively, consider it the only possible option) because it doesn't relate to the others.

That's exactly why level 10 is the way it is. You see a bunch of wood items, and then because you are working with sequences instead of sets, the furnace is correct.

Tbh I could have been the size of said item when placed. Magma block is bigger than a chest, and a chest is bigger than a torch, and a torch is bigger than a single sea pickle.

For future reference, when you need to conserve food, eat rotten flesh to full then finish it off with 1 food item (after the hunger goes away) If you are on like 1/2 a food it is 100% worth it.
It's amazing how much you can know about Minecraft and not know that you know it!! Very awesome map, hats off to the creator for sure!

When the answer was lapis ore because of EXP from smelting, it also works from order from most to least amount of letters in the name, chorus fruit = 11, wet sponge = 9, lapis ore = 8, and clay = 4
PS: none of the other blocks would have worked here because clay = 4, netherrack = 10, and sand = 4

I was following along in my head and the first one to stump me was the fence to pressure plate to button to furnace, but I'm pretty happy about that because usually I'm the dumb one.

The example is wrong. You can't get diamond unless you have an iron pickaxe and you can't get an iron pickaxe without melting the iron ore first. So, I think it should be coal ore instead of diamond. You could use the wood to fuel the furnace also, but... Coal seems to be the correct one. But that is, obviously, in a case where you don't have access to a lot of wood. So yeah, I guess the right one is diamond.
I love Jordan crushing his head on these but the alphabetical one... Doesn't count.

Sksk SLla Golden carrots have the best satisfaction at around 14.4 compared to steak 12.8

That beef question was wrong because golden carrots are the best food to eat because they give you best hunger and best saturation
Edit: Teak gives more hunger points but golden carrot gives more saturation points

My potion knowledge is MCPE only, so I don't know the potion ones.
technically, its is not stone it is cobble stone because you need silk touch to get that and you need diamonds to make enchantment table.
But villager trades can offer silk touch
