Totally reminds me of my Italian mom making artichokes. She never used anchovies but everything else was pretty much spot on. My sisters and I would fight for the last “carciofo” I’d even eat them for breakfast and the heart was the best part

Any tips on starting to cook with anchovies? I use to hate fish but can tolerate it now. It seems all your recipes use them to give it flavor. Does it have a heavy fish taste or does it give more of a salty essence or what exactly?
I love stuffed artichokes and we eat them a lot on holidays. You didn't remove the choke. Which is ok, but just so people know not to eat that part cuz it's no fun lol. You can do it by getting in the center with a spoon, i like to open them up anyway to stuff them.
