- In this video I will show you 2 lists for the Eldar at 500, 1000, 1500, and 2,000 point values. I will also cover some of the reasons you may or may not want to start an Eldar army yourself.

I always find it enjoyable to look at this videos. I dont much care for factions i dont already play but the breakdown of the decision making on why you would pick something is always one of my favorite parts of list building. A cople of these have been so good that I've been close to starting a new army, before deciding that eating 3 meals a day is also important, and that my imperial fists and tyranids in the pile of shame would be mad if I brought more stuff before making any progress in that front. Good job

Incredibly excited for this one. Sad that my favorite unit probably won’t make it. Swooping hawks and the biggest giga chad known to man kind baharroth. I hope the leaks are true and they get a refresh this addition.

Good video. I am a little disappointed there's only two lists and one is Ynnari (Really, really have no interest in that "faction"), but I get that you could probably do Eldar lists forever and still have people asking "why didn't you do X". You can take basically anything in the Index and you're probably fine.
I had about 5 lists initially but after talking with the best Eldar players in the world their suggestions boiled down to being basically the same list 5 times with maybe 160 pts different.
Eldar having so many fine cast models be meta really limited options

I have a question about the autarch: there is some problem for the list if my autarch doesn't have wings?
The wingless version doesn't have lone op which is a huge deal. A lone op that self rezzes has incredible primary/secondary objective potential
The Autarch you can buy with wings is one sprue with only one wargear option which is mandiblasters and banshee sword. The boxed Autarch comes with all the options but has a warp jump generator which allows it to be a Wayleaper.
Suprised you didnt try for the start collecting drukari for ynnari!
It wouldn't be terrible, but I think the scourges and mandrakes are the biggest thing you want from drukhari.
This is my personal army list: 2 combat patrols, 2 support weapons,2 war walkers, 1 avatar of khaine, 1 autarch eldar, 1 eldar ulthran, 1 spiritseer & jain zar. There is some problem with my list or not?
Jain zar has no banshees to lead. You have a lot of bikes to not have a leader on bike, so getting one of those would be solid unless you explicitly want 3 3 man bikes for secondaries. You have 4 leaders that want to be with guardians and only 2 units, so your probably running 1 farseer and ulthran for max Fate dice.

I was too. I was very surprised how low cost some of their units were for how many points you got. You could honestly get a sub $600 Eldar list pretty easily, but it would look incredibly jank. I had Quinton Johnson from art of war look over my stuff to help make sure it was good and the lost almost immediately went up $120
anyone refusing to play a game with you, just because you brought an army you like, is not worth to play with anyway.
100%. I tell people the same thing, but I know some people have a hard time with rejection of any kind
Considering games are usually upwards of hours long, i completely understand why someone would not want to waste time playing a miserable experience. They most likely play to have fun and if your eldar arent fun to play against, why would you hold it against them to not be stuck in a miserable experience for several hours?
@@pepi560 disagree...I once faced a whole IG flying Circus list, didn't know it before hand and my only AA was one flakk missile launcher. Still played it, lost sure, but had fun.
Most of the games I've played I can't remember who won, but I do remember the epic moments. Sometimes you loose big, sometimes you win big.
@@FlourEater yeah its not about agree or disagree because i had a similar experience with a fluffy snagga list into pre-patch list of avatar of khaine + 10man blob of melta guardians (at 1k no less) and still had fun but i most certainly can understand why someone might refuse to play against that in my position
For me it's just amazing when people hate playing against armies that much. My main army is tau and I've had people not want to play with me for having tau. Meanwhile the only time I've refused to play with people is because they were poor sports.
