Yes! I need to know the diagnosis because after 20 years of therapy she should have some improvement within her mental state. She has the money for EXPENSIVE therapists. Surely they have helped her enough for her to make some basic decisions in her own. It just doesn’t add up at all. If she is crazy AF, she definitely shouldn’t be performing, working as a judge on a singing show, or meeting fans. The fact that they signed such huge deals lets me know that she is sane enough to get by. Plenty of “crazy” people walking around getting by with limited resources so I think she will be fine.
They don't have one. Just a blanket saying of she is not well. I don't agree with Al at all with what he is saying all that he bringing up is things that happened over 13 years ago. Her father say an in and took advantage. The doctors,lawyers etc.. all on a payroll all they have to do is put certain things in writing and that is that. I hope this new judge looks at the case without her Dad's hand playing a role. They need to hire independent doctors to evaluate and I'm guessing they will see how much damage and what her state of mind really is.

This conservatorship has driven her and kept her unstable. Yes over 10 years ago she had a break down. Can you imagine the stress of her life back then? Constant working, fatigue, vultures, relationship break up, paparazzi EVERYWHERE EVERY DAY etc. This woman has been working since she was a child. Shit! That break down was her brain and soul screaming for a break and support. The consavatorship is the ultimate gaslighter only to point the finger at her and say " see i told you, you need us to watch over you". Its an ongoing mindfuck.
She had postnatal depression and they ran with it. She ain't mentally unstable she was on the scale as every human being is we are all 1-4 and She was on level 4 after her baby. She's noway at that now. People need to research mental health properly.
This is the first time I don’t agree with neither guys. Claudia is always great. She is mom, Mom is she. But from experience, she is speaking out of fear for her life in that testimony its clear they drug her up everyday which is why she “wrote all this down”. Thats how people with severe depression/anxiety/cognitive impairments express themselves, thats how they speak and its draining bc the feeling is the same as a drowning fish. Then she said she wished she could stay on the phone longer, like it sounded like an emergency 911 call to be quiet honest and its very obvious if she doesn’t get help she might just take her life.

Al doesn't know what he's talking about. This entire conservatorship was fraudulently placed on her after they claimed she had dementia. She does not. Britney was literally teaching her dancers the choreo for the new tour after the first Vegas one. There's video of it. Britney may need therapy, but she's more than OK to resume her life normally after 13 years. Everything that Al is claiming about her mental health occurred over a decade ago. She was placed on lithium because she had a creative disagreement over choreo for the new tour. They punished her by saying she was being defiant in rehearsal to get her doctors to prescribe it. Listen to the damn testimony and do some research before you completely condemn this girl's mental fitness, especially after we know she has been footing the bill for everybody. Had you done research, you would know that her dad was gotten MILLIONS off Britney, not a $160K salary. He got percentages of every tour shes done. I just can't ... Lol

I don’t know the full story but if you watch (or remember) how Britney was stalked when she became a superstar, she had reason to have some mental breakdowns and issues. And pretty much all child stars do! It didn’t seem like a big deal back then but if you re-watch the footage in documentaries of her life and Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, their lives were crazy and that was a lot of pressure for her at that age to be under a microscope. Her family could have overreacted and medicated her prematurely to create this problem. And plenty of people drive with their babies in their laps. Maybe he’s never been around people with kids. 🙄
Let’s not forget that we saw the baby in her lap because helicopters with photographers were hovering over her as she drove everywhere she went. That’s not normal.

When was Al appointed as her doctor? He's acting like he knows every aspect of her mental health history. Having her evaluated by independent doctors would be beneficial especially if as he insinuates, her mental health hasn't improved over the years. New medications and therapy can potentially improve her condition.

Al Reynolds you need to do your research and actually listen to Britney’s testimony. Most of the things she went through was by force. Her handlers/father/doctors forced her to take medications, they forced her to tour and do residencies, they forced her to check into rehab and other mental facilities. She was even forced to get an IUD. That doesn’t sound like a mentally ill person, that sounds like a woman controlled, forced to do labor like a trafficked slave and a woman who knows she’s being used as a cash cow.

The panel's discussion was thoughtful and considered. They reflected the complexity of the issue in a respectful manner. People should also realize that restriction of her reproduction rights may seem harsh on the surface however certain psychiatric drugs can cause abnormalities so pregnancy is not advised. Her reports of feeling drunk on her medication etc is related to the titrating period of commencing medication which varies. All those nurses are to monitor her for side effects, dosage administration, medication concordance, observation of changes in presentation etc. Basically the same care you receive on an inpatient basis but she has the means to do it at home.

I'm in the same situation with my sister. No one knows how incredibly hard it is to care for someone with mental illness. My sister can sound so incredibly stable but that is not the case at all. She makes the same accusations as Britney. It's hard enough to try and get help and I worry how this will impact those of us without money trying to get conservatorship over a loved one in the long run. It's such a tiring uphill battle.
Sounding sane and stable..are differnt than performing and rehersing for hours oon end,..this woman put on shows and made millions of dollars..Is your sister able to function at that capacity..people with the same illness, can have totally different experiences/outcomes..you can't paint everyone with a mental illness with the same brush..they need individual treatment.

I am fighting hard to keep her safe, from being homeless, victimized and deteriorating. In the presence of other people she presents herself extremely different. I can't jump to conclusions as to what's happening or not happening with Britney Spears. Like you I'll never discount abuse either, but I'm not jumping to conclusions.

I agree Al. I personally think something is mentally wrong with her. I speak from personal experience with relatives. When they're on medication they will feel fine and appear fine. But if they do not take those meds they can harm herself or others. I know about conservatorship too. And yeah they can work and stuff as long as meds are in place. But if they forget to take them or in their mind start thinking I don't need them that's a huge problem.
