Must be an extremely loud gun, then. If it was still audible to the 2 of them from that range, I imagine without it, Stewie may have gone deaf even with ear protection.
A silencer doesn't exactly make the gun completely quiet. That and there are different types of silencers.
Suppressors don't make the gun completely quiet, so it would be believable that a suppressed sniper shot is heard from that distance.

That wouldn’t be that unordinary. She was about to shoot Lois, her blood pressure was up, she certainly wasn’t relaxed. The reality of getting shot wouldn’t have really kicked in until she noticed it, or at least for a few hours. Notice how it went right under the heart, in between the lungs, and above the stomach. That’s not a lethal shot, that would’ve just hurt a lot. Like when you are running around or on a roller coaster and get hurt, you don’t feel pain, but you might see a scratch.
