Pain in the knee after Hip Replacement surgery is not uncommon. The position of the knee while the acetabulum is being worked on can often lead to knee pain. But cold packs can be helpful with this kind of pain. But this pain disappears on its own in the weeks following the surgery.
However, if the pain is persisting even after 3 months, it is definitely a cause for concern and you should absolutely consult your surgeon.
