Shenron can only bring a person back once. But he can bring multiple people back at the same time if you word the wish right. Porunga however works a little differently.

Just to warn you, the original series took *107* full episodes to cover the same ground Team Four Star did in 30...so it occasionally drags a bit. Though the remastered "Dragonball Z Kai" version manages to cut that down to just 54.
It has an awful boring OST though, it makes it so freaking lame compared to the OG ...
@@nikm3rIf you mean the soundtrack that Kai uses, both Kai and TFS use the "original" Japanese soundtrack. I still also prefer the original English OST for most moments though
@@RetconCrisisTFS technically uses soundtracks from the OG Kai series soundtrack as well as the original Japanese soundtrack. And a few sprinkled through other series.

To clear up on how Porunga, the Namekian Dragon, came back:
Guru was the creator of the Namekian DragonBalls. So when he died, the the dragon disappeared and the Namekian DBs turned into stone. But when they used the Earth's DBs to wish everyone on Namek who were killed and/or died during Freeza's invasion back, they brought Guru back momentarily. Thus bring back Porunga
If you think it's been longer than five minutes here, that's nothing. In the actual anime, that five minutes spanned for several episodes, which is what Goku's really mocking when asking if Frieza knows what a minute is.

Krillin didn't come back because shenron can only bring someone back once and he died in the first Dragonball series as a kid
Porunga can bring someone back who has died before, but he can only rez one person at a time while shenron can do as many as he likes. They have different limitations
In cannon Goku spared Freeza for a few reasons.
In part because Goku just didn't see Freeza as a threat anymore, like he said he was getting bored, it didn't feel like a challenge or even a fair fight anymore. Goku was so much stronger, it was like fighting a little kid, it was getting embarrassing. It wasn't at all like with Vegeta where Goku thought he could get a good fight out of him in the future.
In part Goku wanted Freeza to live in fear and shame, the same way the Galaxy lived in fear of Freeza, Goku wanted Freeza to be afraid that if he ever stepped out of line again, Goku would come back and finish him off.
But really the biggest reason is that Goku has a soft heart and couldn't bare to let a helpless and begging person die.
But he killed billions of people
For Goku's whole adult life he's tried to spare people
He spared Piccolo, he would've spared Raditz if he had the chance, he tried to spare Nappa, he spared Vegeta, and he tried to spare Freeza
Beyond people he killed as a kid, Freeza was the first person Goku 'killed', and he really didn't want to do it
In the original Japanese dub, Goku threatens Gohan after telling him to leave.

Goku had always let his enemies go. Most of it is so they can back and challenge him in the future.
I mean, most of his friends used to be a rival/enemy of his.
Tenshinhan came from a rival school that specialized in assassination - and originally wanted to kill Goku.
Krillin was a childhood rival-turned-friend.
Yamcha was a bandit that semi-tried killing Goku (used a sword in a fight).
Piccolo was born with memories from his father (King Piccolo) losing to Goku - and thus was born hating Goku himself. Only difference was this Piccolo was born with some honor was wanted to “do it right.”
Vegeta, you saw his story.
This is one of the few times a villain chose to remain evil instead of being won over by Goku.
Nappa is back because Vegeta worked for Frieza when he killed Nappa. The wish Lord Popo made was to bring back everyone Frieza *and his men* killed. Since Vegeta still technically worked for Frieza, Nappa is revived by a loophole.
But that's a DBZA specific thing. In canon, Nappa is still dead and won't be coming back.
The peoole Nappa killed, however, will not be revived, as he worked for Vegeta, but it didnt count as him working *for Frieza.*
There are 2 dragons. The Earth Dragon and the Namekian Dragon.
Popo made a wish to bring back the people in Namek, which in turn revived the namekian dragon. The Namekian Dragon died the because Guru died since he was the creator of the dragonball in Namek. Dende used the Namekian Dragon to wish everyone to Earth, except frieza and goku
Death does have a consequence in Dragon Ball, this is another thing they are playing up. They take death seriously because Shenron can only bring someone back once, that is why Krillin was not revived with everyone else on Namek. Porunga doesn't have that limitation which is why he can bring Chiaotzu and Krillin back. But, since after this point those dragon balls will be on New Namek, this one resurrection rule applies for most of the series.
This episode was hilarious!!! And honestly the actual show is really really good, the freeze saga was an emotional roller coaster, and Gohan’s character development was one of my favorites, if u get the chance to watch the show in its entirety, I really think you’d love it🙏🏾

Okay, the Dragon for the Namekian Dragonballs disappeared (because Guru died) before he could grant the third wish. So when Guru was brought back to life (thanks to the wish on *Earth's* Dragonballs & Dragon), it came back into existence...with that last wish still available for Dende to use.
"Why not him (Krillian)?" Earth's Dragonballs can only bring back a person once...and Krillian's already been brought back to life by them. So it doesn't work on him any more.
The reason Krillin didn't come back to life when everyone else on Namek did was because he had died back when he was kid. The Earth Dragon has a rule on only bringing someone back from death just once.
This rule doesn't apply to The Namek Dragon, though.
For whatever reason Namekians get really attached to Gohan.
The personalities of the characters are exaggerated, but the story is dead on. This is basically the story of the original show.

If you want to watch the actual show then you need to know the episodes are really a lot becouse got old style anime pace and there are also fillers, in one single case there is even an entire saga filler which is the worst dbz saga for literally evey single dragon ball fan without no doubt, so whenever you feel is going a bit long just remember it was a different time with different way to do compared with today, also OG dragon ball where goku is kid is even more old but is more silly comedy and still a pearl is worth to just see how the father of today's anime did born, OG dragon ball the start of an era and still giving rules even today
