That’s a excellent idea with the breather pipe drilling part 👏 I’m chuffed I found this video I’ve spent so much money this week buying everything to be put off with fitting a Eberspacher Webasto fuel pick up for Fiat Ducato Also needing the tool it completely put me off I’m now hopping when I look I can do it this way you have 😂 fingers crossed
Great video and love the insert into the breather, going to do my own soon, would have liked to have seen a bit about routing the wiring as not everyone mounts there battery right next to the drivers seat. Was this the leisure battery of a moved main battery ?
Brilliant Idea and Job on the breather! Could you go down straight with the Metal Pipe or bend it inside the Tank as well to get around the level sensor assembly ( which is a kind cylinder) and q2 which glue would you recommend or is that Dekasil or Sicaflex? Would be great to get some more Tips to get rid of my 7,5 L tank and Tap the 120 L tank ( Ducato) ty
I'm thinking about doing this myself. My only concern is that if something attached to the bottom of the heater needs replacing, it looks like it would be very difficult to get to. Is that actually the case?
Hi! Great video, thanks for sharing the method. I am going to do something very similar with my 2015 Relay. Only unclear on one thing - once you make the whole in the breather connector, how far does the metal fuel pipe need to go down into the tank?
Hi great video... Happy new year... i know this is an old video. Can you update me on the heater feed into the diesel tank have you had any difficult problems etc any movement leaking etc thanks.
I actually found the tube bent really nicely so it didn’t need anything. Didn’t heat it, I think it’s just a really soft metal so quite an easy job really!
Nice job. Has your fuel guage frozen at all? Some modern cars, if you syphon fuel out the tank, the digital fuel guage freezes. I don't know why but have seen it several times. Used to work in the trade. So have been wondering if you hook one of these heaters up to the main tank in a modern van, would it happen. Cheers
Would you mind letting us know where you bought the vertical metal diesel pickup pipe kit from please (the metal tube that penetrates into the tank). Thx.
Best video i have seen , just finished fitting my heater :-) Thank you for sharing.
Super helpful thank you, will be fitting mine soon to a boxer so this is just what I needed

Best I seen for installation under a seat, how did u wire in the heater?
Where did you get the heat shield you put around the exhaust?
Great video. Did you drill your pilot hole in the centre of the round recess that you pointed to. cheers
Can you confirm where the pilot hole went ? I assume the centre of the round recess too ? Thank you
Hi,
Realy helpful video. I was wondering where you got that turret plate? Did you get it from Autotherm?
Yes it comes in the kit from planar U.K.

Ed. Love your videos. I have a LWB Sprinter to convert. I hope to have a shower. What bobil system would you recommend?
Bobil Hybrid dual with 4kw Autoterm :)

I think I cut around 200mm off the Autoterm one. You can push the tube to the tank bottom to measure it.

No issues at all 👍
A helpful video, thanks. Did you put anything inside the dip tube while bending it to 90 degrees to avoid it folding? Did you heat it before bending?

This has happened to me and the EML has come on, yet to fix it
@@alexvowles9426 Grim. Sorry to hear that. Try filling the tank completely. Sometimes resets it
@@toysrus2413think we will try fill it up later
Do you reckon a 5kw would fit under the seat or is that pushing it?
It would but it may stick out a bit.
Dose the heater smell out side the van? As all ways on camp sites.
Thanks
Generally if you’re running the heater the doors are closed as it’ll be cold outside. Smell isn’t a problem as the fumes dissipate instantly.
Thanks, was just worried as we use a drive away awning and don’t want to to stink of fumes lol.
Thanks again great video
Won't the kit dissolve over time from the diesel fumes?
Which kit? Sorry, I’m not sure I quite understand the question!

Where did you buy the drip tube ?
It comes as part of the Autoterm kit
Hi. Great video and thank you.
Can i ask where the heat shield on your exhaust pipe is from? I'm doing the exact same route as yourself
It’s included in the kit
