That's the best color rivian offers for sure. Love the soft grey.
I like all of the colors, but ocean coast is makes the cabin feel more open.

Right as the video started I thought "man that's a pretty color". I had my heart set on blue, but I may have second thoughts. lol I'm already a fan of Toyota's Cement Gray.

The Duke is right , Rivian's regular OTA software updates continue to make a great vehicle even better. For me, this is one of the best, unexpected, benefits of owning a Rivian.
Hey Duke, the only negative thing about the Rivian is that it doesn't pair well with m&ms. I would transition to beef jerky as soon as possible. Happy anniversary!

Just hit 1 year with mine too! Totally agree with everything you've said. Love this truck more than the day I got it. Still need to get a bed cover... was waiting for the Gear shop... but maybe I'll look again elsewhere. Any you had your eye on?

Had my R1T for 1.5 years. Agree with your enthusiasm for the vehicle. Simply Outstanding! You don't appear to be into off-roading but another great feature is Camp Mode which will automatically level the vehicle for your roof-top tent. What I'm anxiously waiting for is the NACS adapter. This will make road-trip charging stressless. Biggest disappointment is Rivian never followed through on the Camp Kitchen. Ride, interior quality, acceleration, handling on and off road...OMG!
The Rivian is so awesome that if I made a video with all the things I like about it would be 3 hours long😆. I did make a video on camp mode, and getting access to the Superchargers will just make it even better.

Reserved my R2 - very excited

We got our R1S back in September 2023 and we’re never going back to gas vehicles. Everything is great especially for early reservation holders prices. They should have the driver plus to work using lane guides instead of just ‘mapped’ roads.
Hopefully they will get there soon with Driver plus, and I will never go back to gas again either!

Beautiful color combo on that truck! I have two children, how are the back seats if you put two kids in back with some sports gear? Can you get three kiddos in the back?
Thanks! Yes, you can get three children in the back seat of the Rivian R1T. I have two, and one is in a car seat, and they fit just fine. As far as sports gear is concerned, you can store it in the front trunk, gear tonneau, or under seat storage area. This truck has way more storage options than an gas truck.

One of the concerns is the overheat-limp mode problems explained by some owners. Have you experienced this? I think you have to drive it fast for a minute to experience this.

What’s your take on rivians future? I have a reservation for the R1T but I’m worried with rivians stock and them losing so much money per vehicle they might go out of business. Whats your opinion?
I'm also interested in thoughts. My opinion fwiw, is that Rivian's vision and products are too good to fail. They will always have investors willing to support them.

The R1T is the best daily driver truck, and the most versatile vehicle period IMO.
Get a Tesla Cybertruck and give us a 1 year review.
Cybertruck is nice, but I don't have a use case for it. Great showpiece though.

co worker Tesla got t-boned , $ 28,000 in repairers and insurance raised up $ 1,000
His insurance went up when someone else was at fault 🤔 I have never had that happen, and if so, it's time for a new insurance carrier.
Had a minor front end collision in our Model 3 and total cost of repairs was $13,000. Hopefully these new car companies can reduce part prices, but where's the motivation?
