A great match and superb practice opportunity for FZD! I suppose these "warm-ups" just provide a break from the intense training and coaching regime, i.e. some "match practice". I guess this match was just what the coaches had hoped for. They must be pleased with Zhou Qihao.

Zhou tries too many run around shots, chop blocks and wide flicks to forehand. If he takes on FZD backhand to backhand he wins. He needs confidence in his backhand as, in my opinion he has the best corner to corner backhand in the world.
People what are you talking about !? How could he be allowed to win !? What would you think of the Chinese Olympic team then? Moreover, Ma Long had been beaten the day before.Fan himself played without inspiration.

@@user-tg7ep7gd6x 技术有没有问题不好说。但他就是赢了马龙和樊振东，所以才这么大的关注。前两天，输给刘丁硕，上次热身赛也输给王楚钦。更别提他公开赛的成绩了。多次都倒在qualification，最好成绩我记得是四强。他有很大进步不假，但内外战都还做不到明显优势，当主力还有点为时过早。而且水涨船高，变化很快。梁靖崑也赢马龙樊振东许昕，但是他现在不也没有冲击上来。
热身比赛如果把樊镇东赢了，组织上会问，“你什么意思？在这个时候是想证明什么吗？” 万一小胖心态被打乱，奥运会没拿金牌估计他也要担责任。大家打这种比赛都心知肚明，点到为止，实际就是给小胖练练手，找找状态。技术，球感，周启豪现在已经世界第一。赢不了比赛是心理问题，他打球太浪 ，输赢对他不重要，他追求的是干掉对方那一板在对手心里的阴影面积。所以4-1输掉这场比赛刚刚好。第四局一下追了7分再输掉其实已经给组织上表演完了。
樊镇东就像打拳击，周启豪硬碰硬知道自己会吃亏，所以时不时来个侧切。跟他搓。这一切都是身高的原因。王皓，小胖，小小胖都矮一点，重心低，更适合近台连续进攻，这也是乒乓球的趋势。球板，胶皮变化太快了。
