i think a good underarm serve is hard than it looks. you need to disguise it. there's also the mentality aspect of it that i don't think a lot of players are willing to commit to. "this is a serious shot that i need to master" is not something most pros are willing to admit.

My guess is that he was complaining about rafa’s colors. His shirt and wrist bands are exactly the same color as the ball, which can interfere with depth perception when those colors overlap. But I couldn’t hear anything over the commentators

I’m fairly sure that doping only includes performance enhancing drugs, which I don’t think painkillers are. It would be a bit messed up if an athlete in pain couldn’t take something to numb it. Like how Agassi got cortisone shots for his vertebrates

Koehlers foot is a well documented condition that can flair up anytime, on any day. Nadal has always highlighted the success of his opponents when they beat him, and usually mentions his conditions in passing.
