On they packâs info, it says attend Uni with your sims so Iâm thinking that it is similar to the get to work mechanics, Yeah if itâs a rabbit hole that will be extremely disappointing.
Yeah and we didn't really see anything new, there was no social groups like it was in the sims 3. I hope that I'm wrong but I'm feeling that this pack will not improve on the previous University packs and after a week will be boring, but that's what The Sims 4 have been doing since 2014 so I will not get my hopes up

@@MonstehDinosawr there's two types of higher education here. We have both college and University. It's mostly closer to home and community's have colleges and the more expensive higher degree places are University. I honestly had the same reaction when they said cubicle's..there's no need to have an attitude towards them for thinking that their thoughts were off.

@@strattical4532 I honestly do believe it is indeed a form of a prosthetic. Obviously tho, if u take it off your sim will still have their arm. Its most likely going to be in the accessories bin of CAS. Im also getting the feeling that once you build your robot you'll be able to keep it as a sort of companion type thing/situation. And hopefully be able to give it commands and what not, almost like we can with the butlers, ya know? It's going to be really interesting once the pack comes out to see what all the robots can do!
@@dexxie318 If you look at the girl's hand it's robotic, the upper arm (aka "The Stump") is still there. It probably is an accessory, but it's one step closer to full disability representation.

That reminds me! I studied abroad in England a few years ago (Iâm from California) and my biggest surprise when I got to university was that there was an actual bar on campus. In the US many student are too young to legally drink during their university years so that was a real âWow, okay different worldâ moment.

One thing that makes me really happy about the trailer is that they use familiar sims as background sims, which they haven't done for years. The I noticed Alice Martin (StrangerVille), Erwin Pries (StrangerVille), Miko Ojo (City Living), Jordan Mayer (City Living) and Morgan Park (rebranded base-game). There's also a sim that looks suspiciously similar to Morgyn Ember.

The ONLY thing I'm not happy with (so far) is how heavily robotics seems to be implemented. I mean sure they're also and I'm excited for them, but what was substituted for them? Protests? Longer terms? Bands? Bunk beds? More classes instead of just villiany, law, robotics, and teaching? If we only have those four feilds it's going to be very depressing and specialized for specific sims. At the end of the day the whole robotic stuff should have been a gamepack or stuff pack.

Will be updating my Newcrest Park public washrooms with proper stalls.I have a few bicycles sitting static or hanging in a garage. Many large open space basements need a ping pong table, was hoping for a pool table this time. Where's the drive-able cars, my garages all have static cars in them. Much needed pack to get me through the Holidays in December.

I'm excited already after I saw the trailer but now you going over the trailer is making me even MORE excited! Can't wait! :D Can't wait for new careers too! This is gonna have so much replayability - I'm going to make a straight-A, studious Sim & then a casual sim who parties it up - gonna be a blast to play, I already know it! :D

I too am actually excited for cubicles/stalls -- finally, the one new toilet type we ACTUALLY NEEDED! I've been relying on custom content that requires some MOO wiggling, and it works great, but it'll be nice to have an OFFICIAL version. Especially with the right kind of toilet paper! :D And I'm looking forward to the rest of it too -- I'm not getting my hopes TOO high for depth, just because of the trends of the last few packs, and I too am wondering just how many of those buildings are actual LOTS -- but it looks like it'll be fun to explore, tool around, and get an education. Plus I'll take a ping-pong table. And you never know -- the fabled pool table might be hiding somewhere. . .

Yes that is true! Per household there is one extra bike I believe. I mean to be fair, every family that I know has more bikes than people lol

@@minjkth true, but bikes are not that expansive here, and you can see the extra bike as an old bike that doesn't need to be thrown away yet. I won the bike I use now, my old bike was still okay. My brother used my old bike a few times. I think most people also give their bikes to other family members or sell them if they're still worth something.
@@minjkth bikes are really not expensive & you know it's not so much about a waste of money because bikes are most likely secondhand, they stay in the family, I got my extra bike because my grandmother doesn't use it anymore & I use both bikes. When someone comes over & you wanna go somewhere but you don't wanna take a car you grab the bike.
& also when my bike breaks I don't throw it away, I keep it so maybe I'll repair it someday.
And cars are definitely a different thing. I'd much rather have people ride bikes than drive cars.
