While I agree that I like that they inlcuded more cultural practices, I don't think you can say that they offer a "European" wedding. Ring bearers, and a maid of honor/ best man is not something we have in my European country for example.
I can imagine Kayla getting Stanley married in his hot dog suit with the cowplant cake with the eyeball ring. Dream wedding right there.

I LOVE THIS PACK but my biggest concern is the bugs😭 I can already see my sims dad cancelling walking my sim down the aisle to go to the toilet 🙃

Having the two single sims at the wedding look at each other and have hearts in their thought bubbles reminds me of the 'attractive sim nearby' moodlet that you could get in the Sims 3. That could be another cute feature if they've added it to the Sims 4

omg i just realized that the sims team was dropping hints about this pack during the last game update with the traditional korean hanboks!!! if you look closely in the asian themed wedding, the guy is wearing a chinese hanfu or a vietnamese ao dai while she's wearing an indian dress.

I thought they gave it away when they did a challenge a few years back and asked us to all come up with wedding venue builds... most people made cottage/farm type venues and then we got a cottage/farm pack... the next I want to say were beachy/garden weddings and here we go! Definitely looking forward to seeing what will be added!

I love the whole story line. I think the ex got married to the south Asian sim and that’s the photo we saw! Of the two wives at their wedding (so cute, love it!)

Just disable the needs temporarily using testingcheats. Y’all know nothing about quickly decreasing needs if you didn’t play The Sims 😂
@@parryyotter I only play on pc, but can console players use cheats? I would be fine with slower needs decay during events because events are more for story telling than the game play of keeping sims alive.

I was very glad to see them use “Bach Parties” and “Sim of Honor” and “flower pal” since they are working on a pronoun/game text update. A lot of wedding language is very inherently gendered and it’s good to see them being conscious of that throughout new pack development and not having to go back and fix this in an update too.

I live how they switched and and then both of the feminine ones got together it was just so cute. If it is a vacation world, there’s a really good mod that lets you live in all the vacation worlds. I love letting my sims live in selvadorada! It doesn’t conflict with much of anything if at all it’s definitely an amazing mod. The creators name is Zebru

I've been a family-centered player for all my time playing the Sims and I'm so excited for this pack! The slow dancing, the flower pal, the ringbearer, all of it! I think Tartosa is going to be a residential world because I had a feeling when they said "stay in Tartosa", they meant building a life there. It looks beautiful!
i’ve never been a family centered player i always just meme around in the game but THIS- it looks so great i can’t believe it i actually want to play the sims 4 again
I’m so excited for this pack, I can’t wait the 9 days either, With this one being so exciting, who knows what “Extra to the max” is all about!! But one thing that’s always bugged me about base game, is how when I do legacy families and my sims get married they don’t acknowledge their in-laws as in-laws or get added to that sims family tree. So I wonder is that going to be included as well? 🤔

You currently cannot get married in vacation worlds, I found this out the hard way after setting up a whole lot in Selvadora. So Tartosa is most likely a residential world with a rental lot for honeymoons

My first thought about "stay in Tortosa" was that, finally, they weren't making a destination world. But it seems like they're specifically talking about staying in Tortosa for the honeymoon (or any other world with a rental lot).
There should be no destination worlds. "Rental" should be a trait that can be applied to any residential lot (including haunted houses, tiny houses, and apartments). Just IMO, of course.
Removing the Destination World system would’ve involved going back in time and rehashing both Granite Falls AND Selvadorada to be livable. Pretty sure there are mods for that now, though.
Can’t you make any lot technically a rental lot? I thought they added that when snowy escape came out.
It's interesting that the bride from the wedding is older at the start and decorating a cake. Do you think there will be any new careers with this pack, like Wedding Planner or Cake Decorator or Wedding Photographer? If we are getting new songs for slow dancing, I do hope they have a REAL full-Simlish cover of "At Last".
I'm impressed about the seeming detail given to different cultures in this pack. I only hosted one traditional Chinese wedding during my catering director years but they seem to hit those nails pretty solidly. This looks great...and yes, I might've teared up unexpectedly at the trailer, m'self. :D

The wedding planner career was my first thought too!
I thought the woman at the beginning was the bride and the rest of the trailer was her flashback. Thinking about it though, she was probably making the cake for her Renewal. If we don't already have a bakery option, we might get that. Or, if we DO have them already, add wedding cakes to things they can make.
This looks SO COOL! I love the diversity, too. Only thing I was hoping for that we didn’t get was a Wedding Planner career. Soooo happy they’re working with Simmers, too, especially IcedMunMun - the food will definitely be top tier!!

But it would be cool if like a parent hated the fiancée they could object or an ex it the red with your sim could show up because that would be really funny, but I agree it would be super annoying if it happened all the time
Maybe like when you plan the wedding there could be a box you tick so that it only happens if you want it too, and even with that it would still not always happen, only randomly when you select to have a chance of it happening

yeah i always renew vows during the romance festival!
@@isawhat8712 yes, if you get two sims who are already married to each other under an arch, you will get the option to renew the vows!

this pack coming out soon lines up perfectly with where im at in the NSB challenge, my blue sim is gonna get married soon, and the whole highschool sweetheart thing makes the wedding even cuter.
In the start, when she is decorating the cake, you can see through the window, that she is in Tartosa!! It gives me hope that it's a live-in world!!!

When I first saw the teaser for this I was like: „Great- another kit” I thought it was just gonna add maybe some arches, fancy chairs a couple new dresses and suits but then I finally watched the trailer and I was like: „OHHH It’s a game pack-“ and I didn’t think it would completely override the weddings in the sims 4 (at least that’s what I understood from the trailer-) I rlly hope that this one is a good one, especially since we haven’t had any other packs except kits since Cottage Living. Making the sims 4 weddings not chaotic would be revolutinary lol- It looks very good in the trailer, so I’m getting my hopes up- even tho I probs shouldn’t, but let’s be positive
It looks like the lines of flower petals on either side of the aisle ARE the aisle. Like, basically a "rug" that's fully transparent except for the flower petals on the edges, and wherever you place it designates where the aisle is. It's really cute, but it's also got me wondering if there are multiple options if you don't want flowers up the wazoo.
Maybe for the wedding dress shopping you'll go in to cas but instead of it just being your formal outfit it's its own thing that will automatically be what you wear on the day
