A bit disingenious. The labour candidate knew that Palestine was a big issue, but Starmer showed Rochdale that Labour didn't support Palestine by disowning their candidate. All Starmer's fault as he now has to deal with Gorgeous George.
I agree that Starmer has taken way too long to change his policy in regards to Gaza, but Starmer's disownment of their candidate had little to do with their Gaza policy and more to do with Ali's textbook anti-semitism.
