I love how this came out & adore the fact that the bedroom is set up for sleeping only. What a wonderful idea to have the playroom completely separated. I'm taking notes for when I start a family. P.s. the girls are beautiful & I can't believe how much they've grown 😍

The room is beautiful! I’m a single mom too, I remember when I first moved into my apartment alone thinking “damn, if there is suspicious noises I HAVE TO be the one that checks it out” 😳 well I added an extra lock to our main door, got a renter friendly security system, and eventually added a dog to the family 😄

I had to pause to comment. First, you don't need a guy to be home to feel safe. God keeps us safe, and believe me you are strong. Secondly, your kids down the hall is fine, its all in our heads. Kids are way more resilient than you can ever imagine. This is from a single mum too who went through divorce, bought her house and started all over again. My room is on the top floor and my kids on the next floor. I felt a bit nervous initially, but 1 year on, we are all fine. Hang in there, and focus on the finish line, whatever that is. I love watching you and Jamie as well, and him trying to be civil with you and also get stuff done for the girls. I didn't get lucky to have an ex husband like that. Count your blessings babes, and not your losses!
