- Hey loves, this week's video is a decor one. I'm gave my sister Paula (from the balcony chat series) a bedroom makeover.
I didn't completely decorate, as I'm aware her style is very much hers and she would love to add to it and incorporate her own pieces too.
This was super fun, and I think it turned out cute! I can't wait to finish the whole apartment, it's been a fun project!

As you could probably tell, IKEA was one of the only stores still operating during lockdown lol we worked with what we had! xx
Quick note: As far as storage, Paula really didn’t need that much storage as her drawers were pretty empty for the most part. Her closet is pretty spacious so we de cluttered and it fit everything including the shoe rack ☺️
All her clothing was already in the closet.
She put her makeup shelf back next to the drawer because she loves to see all her products but everything else was able to be put away or relocated x

It came out good Nikki. This looks like a tranquil place to relax and editing the wall decorations the room seems calmer. I know she'll add her personal touches to it later on.

I think to be an interior designer you really need to know how to be diverse in style because everyone likes different things and wants something different. Some people prefer the farm house look, minimalistic, simple, bright, look while some prefer the over the top, glam, chic and elegant. Others prefer the modern and home-y look while others prefer a bright and colorful theme-y appearance. I think Niki does amazing with the minimalistic look. I’d love to see her venture out to different styles as well.

Sitting here in my rented room watching this video has suddenly made me realise the full potential of the space. Thank you for inspiring me to think outside the box!
