Jan 2023. Senior Live in Houston. Had this unit 1 yr. During this FREEZE the heat just stopped. Having problem finding ac people to work on these. They say the labor is so much cause the unit has to be broken down to get in to fix anything. People are very upset abt the labor charges. So the company I had come out for 69.00 bucks was reasonable. They only work on American made Mitsubishi units. Blower wheel not turning. Then he switched to cool mode and blower worked fine. Yeah…….living here in this summer heat I have to have ac. Said blower needs cleaning. He rinsed off outside unit an it was very dirty. The outside is coming on. I didn’t know this was gonna be a problem. He said Mitsubishi has made the repairs easier an like the blower will come out easily. So if I had known this would have bought that brand. Mine was installed by Joe Blow handyman. Best to use a reputable installer who will do repairs. Lesson learned. Also the booklet says in cold weather this heaters performance may be affected. They recommend using other heating appliances. Shish. So do your homework on these…
