I am so proud and happy to share the story of my VBAC.
FAIR WARNING the birth story of my VBAC is quite long… I did my best to make this video as short as I could.
I went into labor 41 weeks exactly. I had my VBAC 41 + 2. I delivered 9 days late.
The birth interval between my c - section and my VBAC was 17 months. I got pregnant with my second baby 8 months postpartum. The reason for my c-section was failed induction or failure to wait.
When I decided to try for a VBAC I couldn’t find much information on successful VBAC’s with a birth interval less than 18 months.
I wanted to share my birth story to share that it is possible.
Trying for a VBAC was sometimes lonely…. It’s not something you can talk to just anyone about. I wanted to do this video to be an ear for those who may need a friend when trying to make this personal decision because sometimes all you need is someone to hear you out.

My daughter was stuck at 9.5 which sucks and she will be 21 months when I have my son I want a vbac so bad. How did your birth go mama?

congratulations on your beautiful baby girl! thank you for sharing your story. it sounds like you were surrounded by a wonderful support system throughout your journey, which is really important when you have all these anxiety. i've had two prior c-sections with a low vertical incision. my last daughter being born 3 years ago. i want to have a vbac, but really scared of uterine rupture😢

Congratulations! I really appreciate this video! I will also be trying for a VBAC 17 months after my c-section. Where I live, the minimum recommendation is 18 months so your story gives me hope!
THAT MAKES ME SO HAPPY. The biggest reason why I wanted to do this video because I felt there was such little info out there to give women hope who were under that 18 month recc. YOU GOT IT MAMA.

It won’t be easy if you don’t have the right support. You have to be very determined! Avoid all drugs no matter what the situation is because once there is a intervention it may continue. I hope you’re successful by the will of God.

I had my son last year on June 7th of 2019 by emergency c section, it was definitely a surprise to find out I was expecting 6 months later lol! We'll see how I do my DRS are letting me go into labor on my own and hopefully I can push all the way to the end like you 💖🙏🏼
You can do this! I believe in you!! I hope you are feeling well. Just relax and breathe and get yourself into the best positive headspace possible. I have heard so many VBAC success stories since I shared this.. did you see my other video with my tips for a VBAC?

I got pregnant in December at 7 months PP. Baby was frank breech & was delivered via c-section. It'll be a 16 month difference & hoping for a vbac this go around!

@@mikaylajorge4613 I didn’t. Something told me not to do it. Turns out his cord was wrapped around his neck twice & even with having the C-section he still needed oxygen after he was born. The doc said he could’ve died or had brain damage & would’ve ended in an emergency c section no matter what. I’m glad I didn’t go through with it 🙏🏻

Hello there how was your vbac gose did you achive
I unfortunately had a miscarriage on the 2nd of December. Its been really hard coping with the loss of my baby but im hoping to try for my rainbow baby during this cycle of my period. If it doesn't happen this time then unfortunately I won't be able to try again for another few years due to reason I don't feel comfortable disclosing. Thankyou for asking though xx

I am 37 weeks now after 20 months of c section. But my doctor told she don't want me to take any risk of uterine rupture and she has planned for repeated c section at 38 weeks

Hey there! Was she born posterior or did your exercises with doula help? I just found out (from my post op report from my csection) that my baby was posterior. I was never informed of this in labor. They didn’t tell me to try different positions or anything. Just get in the bed for monitoring and then you should probably get an epidural because the anesthesiologist lives 30 minutes away. Trying for a VBAC next time. Wondering if posterior babies tend to happen again? Do you know if your first was posterior and maybe that’s why your labor was stalling? Sorry for all the questions. I have seen a lot of women with posterior babies go on to have a VBAC
Hi Gabby, sorry for my delay. Yes both of my girls were born posterior... and the reason for my c section was ruled Failure to Progress due to posterior position (sunny side up). We had a feeling my second baby would also be a posterior baby and my doula was prepared with lots of positions to help with that. Back labor is def harder but doable. Miles Circuit and Spinning babies were a game changer for that. Our c sections sound very similar btw... are we instagram friends? I have shared more information there as well. @@dreamingofthefarm3490 yes I follow you on Instagram. I love your content! I was just shocked when I saw the notes from my c-section that he was posterior. I will be hiring a doula for my VBA2C attempt so hopefully they will be able to help me spin the baby 😀

How much did your girls weigh? My last son was 10lbs and would not come down and i didnt dilate past an 8 so i needed a C section, in order for me to be able to try a vbac i would need a smaller then 10lb baby
My c section baby was my smallest baby at 7 pounds 8 oz and both my VBAC babies were over 8 pounds. Believe in yourself, manifest it!! You can do it mama. Have you watched my VBAC TIPS video yet?
How much your Scar thikness ?
I.also have a same 17 months time between deliveries I'm due this Feb 15 2021 my dr is not cooperative for vbac what should I do?
I would definitely get a second opinion. My original provider was also not the "most" supportive... have you seen my VBAC tips video? I talk about that a bit more in that one. Prayers, hugs and good vibes my mama friend :)

@@haimawaqar4956 do your research you can do this go to another doctor. I didn’t go to the hospital until I was in active labor my doctor was also not supportive but with God’s will I succeed.

Thank you :) Yes I was very nervous myself being pregnant 8 mos after my c section. So hard now to remember how nervous I was but I did so much research at that time and many support 6 months as enough time to TOLAC. Have you checked out THE VBAC LINK? In India not so much doctor's are supportive for VBAC even gap is 4 years first c section. Is scar thickness is matter in vbac? How prepare for vbac make more videos to courage all moms too be. Happy nd helathy mother's life to you dear.

So I'm only 6 months postpartum, but I really want to try for a VBAC. What were the reasons you had to have a C-section and what made you a good candidate for vbac? Thanks!
Congratulations to you mama! So that would make your babies 15 months apart.. did you ask your doctor? From the research I found on The VBAC Link 6 months is the cut off although others saying you shouldn't try less than 18 months but my providers were supportive. So I had a c-section because I was a failure to progress after an induction. I was considered a good candidate because I never went into labor on my own. @@livlyfe4022 Hello! I had our second baby in March this year, and I successfully had my vbac! Everything went perfectly smoothly, with no complications whatsoever! It was an absolute dream! But it would not have been possible if my doctor + husband had not been so supportive. If you're passionate about it, and believe in yourself & have a good support system, then you can do it!

How much was your scar thickness just before baby birth??
I didn't notice any difference to be honest.... is yours getting thicker?
@@dreamingofthefarm3490 mine is getting thin ,within one week dropped to 4.1 from 5.1,still my 3 week is left so I think it will get thinner till that time,so not getting hope for normal safe delievery.
