- This time, a classic again: Still Dawn is the ending theme from RE1 (the original one).
I forgot about this theme, but I've found it recently and I think it sounds really lovely.
The picture of Chris and Jill is from RE REmake :]
Resident Evil/Biohazard OST is (c) Capcom.
Original composers: Masami Ueda, Saori Maeda. - Hudba
One of my favorites from the series! Too bad new REs suck these days! Thank you so much!
I love resident evil alot, and remember it forever.
Don't know if you still care but
1. This was done by Makoto Tomozawa, who used a similar section near the beginning later on for another overseas staff roll theme, namely the arrange [PSX/SAT/PC] version of Mega Man X3. The arrangement, however, is closer to his work on the Mega Men Legends series that he was involved with at the time.
2. The original composers were Ueda, Tomozawa and Akari Kaida. You're thinking of RE3.
The best game ever. I think even in 2050 (if i'm still alive) I will enjoy to play this game.
love this song
(cont.)That said, 5 did take some steps to resolve some dangling plot threads, and 6 looks to be going even further with that by bringing back characters that I thought Capcom had all but forgotten about (like Sherry Birkin). I know that I sound like I'm being excessively negative, but there's aspects of 4 and 5 that I like, and I'm really looking forward to 6. So much, in fact, that I'm currently doing a complete run through of the series from 0-5 (including Chronicles and the RE5 DLC levels).
RE1-Chris & Jill. RE2-Leon & Claire. RE3-Jill. RE4-Leon. RE5-Chris & Sheva. RE6-Chris & Leon. I enjoy how they switch it up
@AngelCaged Well Operation Racoon City looks pretty good. I'm hoping it will restore some of the Survival Horror feel to the series, but its still going to be primarily action based because that's what everyone's crying for. Plus with ModernWarfare 3 and Battlefield 3 just coming out in the past month everyone is going to try and outdo them in terms of an action/shooter game.
It saddens me to think that the games I loved as a kid and even now are slowly dieing from what I remember.
GAME OVER!
god i love this theme brings such a feeling of triumph after the long arduous but exciting spencer mansion story reminds me of sonic somewhat though :/ is it the same composer?
damn wht a good song thanks 4 uploading!
I can see it now: Lorenzo Lamas as Chris riding a motorcycle into the sunset
I love this theme so much omg brings chills when I hear it. By the way, Let's all hope that RE6 will actually return as a survival horror and they actually bring back the beloved zombies. On the main note here, the music in the old ps1-dreamcast RE's meaning original code veronica, all had the best music. Once they made 4, dead aim, survivor, 5 etc etc the music went kinda downhill from there.
i can never get over how this was the ending to Resident Evil :D it makes me think of Sonic the Hedgehog, Everytime! surely i'm not alone on this
resident evil baywatch where rpd members are swimming and the main threat is the neptune
@dmwbird Yeah that would be hella balls-to-the-walls fuckin awesome.
sonic that is exactly what i was thinking.
after completing the game, i end up listening to this and thinking, "SHIT why don't i remember this!?!" heh Pure Sonic style music this though, but it works amazingly with ressy evil :)
yah my only problem is that the newer ones are so short =[
i miss when an RE game would last for weeks or months now i finish it and get everything possible in it in under 3 weeks =/ other then that i still love the series
How do I put this...let's say that Empire Strikes Back ended the exact same way it did, except before the beginning of Jedi, the Empire was destroyed offscreen. That's what RE4 was for me. 2, 3, and CV all ended with the heroes saying something along the lines of "It's time to take out Umbrella". They were all setting up a big climactic throwdown that we never got. Instead, 4 gave us some random cult. Gameplay-wise, 4 and 5 have grown on me (except forced co-op). Story-wise, not so much.
@AngelCaged Even if I agree with you, I still hope that a good Resident Evil will come in the future, just like the good old ones...
Guys ruled. The music from RE is some of my favorite in the entire gaming medium. This song brings me back...it's sooo very 90s and sooo very Japanese.
Baywatch! XD!
i dont get why people cry about the new style...name one bad resident evil game (main story)..the closest is zero and thats just ok not terrible. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 are all fantastic as is Code Veronica and the Remake
I have to disagree with u guys. Yes I to miss the old Resident Evil games being survival horror and all, but the new ones are still very good even though they are more action than survival horror. Capcom will never lose it's touch no matter what, new or old..
too bad the same couldn't be said about their business practices.
Sure sounds like mega man x up in here
juas criss aca se ve re raro
And, that is exactly what I am doing! What I said was my god damn opinion, so don't say as if you are pointing out a fact!! I don't have to listen to you! If I want to play a game, whether the game sucks or not, that is my decision, not yours!
From what I've seen, the original version of 5 (before the ridiculous racism controversy) looked amazing. That one still stings. As far as Jake goes, and I'm just judging from what we've been shown so far, I'm liking him better as a character than Steve. The "Wesker's son" angle is admittedly weird, but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that they can do something interesting with it. I always just found Steve whiny and annoying (but I'm not sure how much of that is just the voice actor).
I will give you that, Darkside Chronicles Steve is way better. Bad first impression for me, I guess.
U think RE6 sucked? how so?
Nah, 6 is fine, Operation Raccoon City, now THAT was absolute garbage.
re4 ok halla replay value to but re5 please it gay man gay
