Resident Evil OST: RE1-REmake-Moonlight Sonata (full)

- This is one of the best sountracks in all Resident Evil series: the Moonlight Sonata, played by Jill and Rebecca both in RE1 and REmake. This song was Lisa Trevor's favourite music, and she usually played it for her parents. The original composer for this music was the world-wide famous musician Ludwig Van Beethoven. By the way, this is the full version of this music. Sad, relaxing and atmospheric ^_^
Resident Evil/Biohazard OST (c) Capcom
original composer: Ludwig van Beethoven - Hudba
After this song finished a secret door opens in my house!
:v
Lol in the game too :D
ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
That’s something to be concerned about
UMBRELLA SECRETLY EXPERIMENTING COVID-20 THE NEWEST VIRUS IN YOUR VERY OWN HOUSE ATM " :>
Now whenever I hear this song, it reminds me of "July 1998" and the Spencer Mansion. It's been 16 years...
lol :) RE1 oraah
Humansrule457 Resident evil reborn is being made. another resident evil 1 remake with HD textures and whatnot. due 2015 man. so excited
same here everything i hear this song im reinstalling this game
july 1998 was probably the most important month in history
martinshoosterman every time I watch lets plays of Resident evil, spyro or medieval it takes me back to when all we could afford was the demo disk that came with the console lol
For me, Resident Evil is one of the best games ever, and this song just fits with the game so madly, i still feel the atmosphere of the mansion when i listen to it.
same here
From "Resident Evil 5 Lost in Nightmares"
Jill: Moonlight Sonata...I remember the last time I played this.
Chris: Think you can still play it?
Jill: You mean right now? I dunno, it's been awhile.
JILL STARTS PLAYING MOONLIGHT SONATA!!!
If Jill/Rebecca is playing the piano, then who's playing the synth strings?
Too spooky I tells ya...
Calum Mccabe Lisas non-existant childhood is.
Nothing makes sense in this mansion.
Where do they keep the giant snake? Next to the giant spider? Spiders eat snakes.
Barry.
Wesker
Ada, dont ask why but its Ada ......... or Hunk
I loved how tall the zombies were and how they towered over even Chris when near... And the way they block your view at certain angles genius like the composer of this piece. R.I.P old school re.
In the Resident Evil show on Netflix there’s a puzzle involving a piano; as soon as I saw it I knew what song it would be and it really brought be back! The original teaser trailer for the RE1 remake had this song in the backdrop. It was amazing…
The series will ruin the memory of the game. They made jill black woman and only unsuitable actors there.
@@korbin4510 For as many faults the show had… I was quite pleasantly happy at the references sprinkled in. They were a hell of a lot better than the ones in the WTRC movie which were just there over horrible character assasination
I would rather make more time for the game than the series. I still need to play the 1st Resident evil game.
That show is trash
I'm here because of RE, I remember I played the piano note and I was like "Hum...such nice song I gotta check it on youtube!" and then here I am.
How can someone deaf create such a beautiful chilling songs!?
He wasn't born deaf.
+Ocelot Shalashaska Beethoven ...
+Ocelot Shalashaska How does every rapper creates his songs today ?
Answer : When their Mode is in the right pase :-). Even if this song is very old, it displayes the situation from then I would say :-).
It has an explanation... He used to cut off the piano, so it hit the floor, and only with the vibration of the piano he knew the sound. Yep, that's Beethoven.
StickBrush He did that to feel the dynamics, not the actual notes, though.
jill also plays this song on the resident evil 5 dlc lost in nightmares
hawkeye's army Just did that for my first time today! I was Chris, but still.
Yea,isnt it cool :D
This gives me goosebumps when I hear this and think of classic RE, the good ol' days
This brings me back, to the 90s when i was little and played this game with my older brother and then began to love the RE Series. I have already collected most of the resident evil games and i keep playing them over and over again and i never get bored of them. I have been playing Resident Evil since the first one came out in 1996. And im not stopping...
This always been my favorite song. From listening to it as a kid trying to make myself feel better through sadness and loneliness to as an adult listening to it every day this song has always been one of my biggest sources of comfort in my life. Masami Ueda or whoever at Capcom made this version of the Moonlight Sonata will always have my thanks.
I first knew about this haunting song from watching the remake walkthrough, and it STILL gives me chills whenever I hear it!!
Austin Lufkin Beethoven..
Still, after all these years since 1996 when the original game first appeared, I still think their choice of music for the piano puzzle was pure genius.
5 S.T.A.R.S. are not enough to rate it! :p
This should seriously be played in the new resident evil movie
I read that this this song is going to appear on the opening credits almost sure...
Close enough but this comment aged WONDERFULLY
They played it (not this one per se) in the new Netflix Series. ( Ep.5)
First Resident Evil live action movies needs urgently a good director who understand the saga like James Wan for example
You were almost a Jill sandwich ._.
OH BARRY!
You're right
Jibble sanduich!
+Alexis Valenzuela Oh barry take your pants down
Alexis Valenzuela we got to the root of the problem
The music goes well with Resident Evil not only for the first one...but for the entire series. It's somber tone and pace really sets the mood for the massive conspiracies and tragedies that happen throughout the series. You can edit together clips from various resident Evil games to this piece and it can really set up the irony and sorrow that the characters in the series have gone through when facing Umbrella's catastrophic breakout.
This...this right here is what a scary game is supposed to be like. Not these overrated games like Amnesia or Slender where you just walk and hope to not be killed by jump-scare enemies. Seriously, being able to fight back and having a good story-line is completely absent with survival-horror games these days.
i agree with you bro
I agree to a certain extent, I understand it, but sometimes there are horrors you just can't fight against, not physically, but mentally.
Resident Evil 1 2015 Remake coming out guys
Alchemist Gaming Another remake? They must be really proud of the first one.
they should be its a great game!!
I love that moonlight sonata is part of resident evil it's so goes well with it...Perfect song for the perfect game of zombie apocalypse...
I love when you get the sheet music in RE1 and everytime you enter that one room the Moonlight Sonata plays. Just a beautiful and haunting piece of music.
It's a version that represents the sadness and tragedy of the Trevor's family and many more lives under the Spencer mansion , looks so nice and scary.
(Trevor) family
I love this version of moonlight, the violin fits so well
That comment is 15yrs old and I’m the first to respond😂
Rebecca: Hi, it's me chris
Chris: Can u play this note?
Ahahaha what a game. very nostalgic moment
Ugh, this song just nails Resident Evil. Perfection.
This is one of the best game series ever.
I was thinking about making analysis of games on YT... I always took this marvelous piece of music as the main theme of RE. I found nice that Shinji Mikami, used this song and years later in The Evil Within he used "Clair de Lune" by DeBussy.
MoonLight Sonata in spanish would be "sonata de claro de luna"
Claire de Lune translates to "claro de luna" as well.
Small Details that put a smile on my face.
Tobyther es como su marca personal, supongo
This song, sorta reminds me of every event leading to the destruction of the mansion.
So Depressing, and yet magnificent at the same time.
Absolutely love the series, I grew up playing these old school games. I have always loved this song 👍
Jill Valentine is just a perfect, strong intelligent woman.
De Void but is a bit clumsy
De Void because that is a ficcion character XD
She wasn't in the original game, now they made her fall on her ass more than once in this remake.
....sure, keep telling yoursef that.
Plus you couldn't even write 'fiction' correctly, that's saying something.....
De Void my keyboard is in spanish, it change words...
Such a powerful song. It's almost as though it was written for Resident Evil. When I was playing lost in nightmares in RE5 as soon as I seen the piano I felt like I was going to cry because I knew what was going to happen.
Cry baby cry 😅
@@shadowlink14_2you deadass replied to an 11 year old comment LOL
@@MakimaMelee I’m just kidding 😄
Jill, she was a formidable soldier...
Then she fell....
Literally.
A great comment and a great name. Props to you, my friend.
What do you mean she fell, sorry for my ignorance
In Resident Evil 5, she fell from a window while fighting Wesker
Hope you can beat some sense into Raven, Yang! :)
Don't lose your other arm in Volume 5
Classic !!
This song make me play this game more and more at those times.
Makes, me want to cry. Love it. I thought the Lost In Nightmares DLC for RE5 was the best part of the game. Unlike the rest of the game, It made me jump a couple times and it was pretty suspenseful, It reminded me of the original, and when I had to play this I almost pissed my pants with joy. Such a beautiful piece of music.
Cry then
so um.. idk but Rebecca chambers is so underrated. to be the origin character, who has been there with us since the horrors of both the train and the mansion, WTF HAPPENED TO HER. not to mention she's super smart.. if u played re0, and re1 she basically learned to play the piano in 4 days. plus she's a medic, and all that combat experience would of done her WONDERS. wtf is she doing right now? lol I care lol plus we might get a Billy cameo.
Well
Seemed like shit to me.
Rebecca won't show up again because Shinji Mikami hates her and Capcom agrees.
This July will mark 20 years since the horrific night at the mansion...Chris would now be 45, Jill, 43, Rebecca, 38, Barry 58. I think I need to play through it again when this month rolls around. I actually bought a Beethoven CD of his music after playing Resi 1 when I was 12. Such a haunting piece: perfect for the tone of the game-the melancholy beauty of the moon contrasting with the horror that is going on in the depths of the forest!
I'm learning to play this on piano. It's a really moving peice. Thanks for posting it AngelCaged!
Thanks for putting it up. I LOVE IT!!! This my favorite song.
I love it = Thanks Resident Evil 1 REMAKE
I love when Jill plays this.
Por Dios! Estoy enamorado de este tema!
Ni tampoco puedo dejar de jugar al Resident Evil...
Tan hermoso y entrañable.
[Necrosis]
Resident Evil "REbirth" HERE I COME !! (again)
Beautiful.... Absolutely beautiful
Thanks for that music video. Such nostalgia it brings back indeed...Well, I'm going to finish up playing the remake now. This is one nightmare I never want to end. Ahaha!
Happy whatever anniversary it is Resident Evil!
is unbelievable to think this was uploaded 8 years ago... shit..
You have a like for each year have been passed...
Past memories when i was child played a lot RE1 and now came back to listen this song.. After 20 years:)
i like this version because is faster than other versions.. who plays this?
Jill duh lol
ultimatetrex1999 Rebecca
Ludwig van Beethoven duh
Try 1.5
Chris:"Rebecca is that you"?
Rebecca:"It's me Chris"
I was in 3rd grade when the first RE came out. I rented a playstation and when I got to the piano room my heart melted for this song. Love RE and Beethoven
This is magnificent, God bless you, Beethoven :-))
I think I get a lot more emotion from this song than I should. It feels alive in a way, somehow depressing but re-assuring. I haven't even played much of the Remake, I mostly stuck to the original, but this song seriously stuck with me. I think it represents the series in a way, honestly, all the way to Jill and Chris stumbling around the worst night of their lives, to Ethan exploring Romania in search of his daughter.
I don't think I'm ever forgetting this, nor the first trip through the spencer mansion.
"When the two have run each other through, the path to your destiny will open."

The best version of the Moonlight Sonata EVER!!! Oh, and I love Jill sandwich 4 ever
Imagine a faithful film adaptation of RE1 and this is the trailer song.
Its been 21 years since the Mansion indecent. Great music.🎶🎵🎹🎵🎶🎵🎹🎶🎵
thanx, ^-^ your story made my day, which is over in bout 10 minutes anywayz lol
@3110arno, Beethoven was deaf and he still composed this masterpiece
The New Netflix show brought me here !
I love this game! I may be 16 but its one of my favorites! I may not have not played this game in its heyday but i still love it! See SOME people my age can appreciate these masterpieces :D
How's it feel not being 16 anymore?
brings back memories.
The best of the best. Forever!!!
I like to think this is the main theme of the franchise. :D
Truly...Beautiful!
Minha musica favorita de todo RE tocada pela minha personagem favorita de todo RE
This is spooky.... yet so beautiful at the same time
Molto bene, mi piace questo tipo di musica, mi rilassa.
Concordo:)
Beethoven era un grande
the perfect story of the series and re4 are awesome
This song is so deep, and atmospheric, like telling the story of a tragedy and how the sorrow consumed the souls of those living the tragedy, it fits RE extremely well.
I just finished RE Zero! It was so good :D
I love this song~ and now Im playing RE 1 ^^
awsome combination, i just loved when jill played this
You my friend is absolutely, positively, 100% correct.

They should play this at the beginning of the upcoming film Resident Evil: The final chapter. That would be a nice nod to the fans of the game.
King Sean since when does paul anderson give a damn about the fans of the game?
+Mariofan 1985 HAHAHA. Oh my God, It's nice to find someone else that agrees with me. Cheers my friend!

This song is very creepy and depressing, but in a beautiful way. Perfect for the game
Best version so far...
Yo amo esta version de Claro de luna , gracias por mostrarla
