I bet you had put sliks on the back because it had dryed, stages not long enough to get any heat into the tires. The BMW Minis were always hard to get the rear end working.
Nope actually, Had the brake bias set completely wrong, Max rear brake... So rears just locked when i braked over the crest. Sorted the issue and car was completely different. Tires we run are standard road tires, so heat not an issue etc
