Well, what makes me an outlier I guess! I am 57 year-old English immigrant, with zero interest in technology, and yet I am 110% committed to Bitcoin. I would describe myself as an extreme conservative/libertarian. I have been involved in UK politics for some time, and the main thing that drove me to study Bitcoin and ultimately recognise its value to Humanity was the threat posed by an over-weening government, first in the UK and lately in the US also. I regard the CBDC as the final brick in the wall of the totalitarian prison the world's governments are building for us. It will stop being volatile when its market cap starts to approach the market cap of the dollar. That is when the dollar is effectively dead and people will actually start using Bitcoin.
There is no such thing as a "Hedge" during a liquidity squeeze. No one, worth their salt, has ever said that Bitcoin is some sort of "Inverse stock" hedge.... where do you morons get this from?

You can't short Bitcoin there is no mechanism that allows you to take a position against bitcoin.
@@gursharnsekhon153 incorrect....there are otc exchanges/brokers allowing premium sellers to sell you put option contract strikes on every 1,000 below market price. You can buy the 25,000 bitcoin put strike so you turn $1000 into $1 million from bitcoin collapsing one day.
