Purpose
The purpose behind this Renovation is to extend the space. This was a two bedroom house converted into Digital Printing Studio.
There were walls in between, making the space cramped and not very functional for printing.
So, our client contacted us to extend the space by removing the walls in between and stabilising the structure with proper space utilisation
Functionality/Space Utilization
The wide space obtained after demolishing the walls gave ample room for free movement, thereby making it highly functionals and gave way for proper space utilization
Structure Stability
The biggest challenge in wall bearing structure renovation is, how to retain the structure stability once the load bearing wall is removed?
When we say wall bearing structure, the load of the RCC Roof and Entire structure load will be transferred on walls, subsequently to the sub soil.
In this horizontal extension project, we have demolished the intermediate wall that was load bearing to create one large space.
To achieve the strength and prevent the structure from collapsing and to manage the load distribution, we have used ISM Beam Construction method.
This strengthens the wall bearing structure and provides stability for longer years.
So, this is how we have renovated this wall bearing structure to achieve the space extension.
