A simple answer that nobody thought about. These players aren’t used to guarding a person that is constant motion off the ball through out the game. It’s like does 2k players who just dex and glitch off the ball in the rec if you play 2k. You gotta show different off ball defensive stances( ie fronting, 3/4, behind) positions to make curry work harder to get these looks. Can’t just be the vanilla tradition way to defend off ball when you going against a player like this
Lakers tried it... Boston tried it.... Which defense steph hasn't been confronted with.
Top notch breakdown, excellent job. We will never see another player like Steph Curry ever.
He is literally like "Rainman" with the basketball. His handle and his shooting are otherworldly. It's almost like he is playing in another dimension. He is slightly faster and more methodical than anyone. His basketball IQ is off the charts, his processing speed is not human. I keep waiting for him to get called back to his planet and "beamed back" on to his space ship.
gotta be my fav break down, as a new comer to the sport this helps me understand why certain offenses and defenses are effective or ineffective
It is really hard to guard somebody like Steph who can do everything offensively.
Excellent analysis Hoop Venue. I didn't notice some of these details when I was watching the game.
Curry is still underrated. Only guy who wins a FMVP and they wont say hes best player in league following year.
Let’s be real curry ain’t underrated. Just because u win fmvp doesn’t make u the best player. Just look at 07 when Parker won fmvp. Parker indeed had a great series but we all know that Duncan is better than parker the following year. Also, jokic and doncic had just as good individual postseason numbers and stats than curry and carried bums to the playoffs and the west finals
Honestly fans opinions on curry make him overrated in my opinion
Curry had +35,2 on-off. pretty insane how bad curryless Warriors are.
3:13 He just makes basketball looks EFFORTLESSLY the way he just knew Jordan was gonna slip to the corner so he went in for the drive to draw to defenders then the way he just whipped it to the corner to here Poole could catch it in his shooting pocket and drill it, looked like something out of a Matrix movie!!!
They are studying more film than this, and they know what they have to do let’s see if they can do it though.
Idc what anyone says curry is in my top 5 all time
Goat offensive player? I can see warriors in 7 possibly
Definitely in that discussion, would throw Magic, Jordan, and LeBron in a group with him... Jokic taking a peek too though!
Absolutely
What about vando
It’s not just about scoring ……it’s about making plays ……which is impossible to stop curry from doing
Nice video, good explanations of the action, pleasant audio.
I love watching Curry play and enjoyed your commentary very much!
Jesus Loves you and wants youto accept him as your Lord and saviour
Except Devon Mitchell of the kings..
Ask the question who could curry guard with out the bi ass ref call bs foul on the offensive player 0
Curry is the GOAT..
Its against the rules to put aggressive D on him
