    Also, going into the left hander stay outside for longer. stay at the edge and aim for the bathrooms straight ahead when you brake, and then turn it. Doing that will set you up much better for the right hander. Might just be something to try next time your there. These lines have been taught to me by skip barber instructers and other HPDE instructers

    I was, frankly, surprised to see an Evo beat out a 996 GT3 RSR...
    (Of course he needed more mufflers after Friday)
    Thanks for making your numbers bigger (I was a corner worker), though you definitely were not the worst in that regard (some cars had four digits, others had none!)...

    I see, yea thats what i was thinking. I went out this past weekend to Summit Point with my evolution 8 as well, nothing like this beast but they are really designed to push, i also confirmed it on the skid pad. Really nothing you can do except throttle steer or burn the brakes trailing trying to get the rear to come around on the slower corners. Ill be working on the setup hopefully i can drive it more like the supra next season, your right nothing like balanced RWD!

    Thanks... I've tried lots of lines with that car, nothing really worked right because it was such a pig. The car ran some quick lap times but it was loose in and tight out. Understeer central. I drive RWD cars similar to what you described at lime rock. Much happier driving the "War Machine" in my newer videos. Nothing like a balanced RWD race car : )

    Great runs. Have you tried to move the apex a little later on diving turn? I cant help but wonder if you would gain a bit down the front straight. Also in big bend i tend go a bit wider mid-corner to get a tad more into the left hander then late apexing to enter onto noname straight. However diffrent things work for diffrent animals! looking good!

    BTW- that porsche was a GT3 cup car (2,500lbs) that had a twin turbo motor in it making 700 wheel hp :)

    I think skip instructors could run 57's in a 600hp car. A good driver can take a mildly modded sti (~400hp and r-comps) into the 1 minute mark without much problem. I agree that ff, rwd, and awd cars will take different lines, but just because you have a lot of downforce and can take a shallower line through the turn doesn't mean it's the fastest way.

    Maybe I'll brake at marker 1 instead of marker 3 next time while going 140mph into big bend

    Hey, nice video! I think you might be able to improve your time a bit by doing 2 things. Through big bend, try keeping your outside wheels on the tarmac, and your inside wheels on the concrete.

    every car is different... no offense but i'm not sure skippy instructors can run 57's. Watch Lou G's world challenge video here at LRP and you will see that cars with this power run a different line. What works for HPDE guys doesnt always apply to 600hp AWD race cars on pirelli slicks.

    Sorry, I dont mean to be a D$%# but I just cant stand it when people make comments when they have never been on a track or do "DE racing". If you race DSR you do know what your talking about. And yes you have lots of downforce to help you :) i'm trying to stop 3000lbs and little to no DF.
