      Hello ! A question here friend 😊
New bike, 2023 Hornet 750 clutch free play set within spec (12mm for 10to20).
I would like to further the bite point of the clutch.
As for now it is so close to the handlebar that my hand is in the way and I have to operate it with 4 fingers to pull it all the way otherwise it is clunky.
Thanks for your video and your time !

great video, easy to understand. Thanks for explaining the harm a tight clutch cable could cause and showing how beneficial a loose cable could be.

That was great. I have been trying to find info about having more play to grip closer to the bar. You explained that really well. Not one single youtuber did that I watched. And I watched a ton. Thanks 👍

Pulling the clutch disengages it, not engages it.

Will more clutch freeplay reduce mileage?

Hi, ive just bought a Z900 2017 model and unfortunately it seems the clutch is slipping. Im new to bikes really so not got much idea. Basically it rides fine but when planting the throttle in any gear, once it hits 6/7000 rpm it just flys up to like 10k rpm like its hitting the limiter, but the speeds taking ages to catch up. Any ideas if i can sort with adjustment or would it need new plates. Its only on 7800 MILES

Make sure there is some free play in the clutch lever. If there is some free play and it still slips then you'll need a new clutch. Good luck!
