One can not deny the passion that is the fans in the city of Philadelphia. They’ll call you out when you’re slacking, but if you’re putting in the effort they’ll defend you to the last!
Sounds like a headache
spot on
@@atlbraves1983 better that than the toxic atmosphere of New York
@@atlbraves1983see y’all in the Playoffs
@@atlbraves1983sorry we’re honest and wanna see good sports in our city because we take pride in it.
I love baseball, man. One swing of the bat brings so much happiness to so many people.
The announcers can just remain silent while the cameras work the crowd.
Well said.
The announcers are like all ex-jocks, nothing but yapping, senseless mouths who shouldn't have ever been hired. Broadcasting and announcing are for experts, not egotistical ex'rs who were just average players at best. Absolutes and superlatives which are all out of place are their calling cards, the ONLY ONES who aren't completely pathetic are the pro announcers, like the guy in Boston who's a very good announcer, or super-pros like Vin Scully was.
The greatest game.
Amen to that!! ❤❤
I was actually at the game tonight, and the crowd was ELECTRIC when Trea hit that home run. Amazing, especially after his recent struggles!
It was fantastic to watch on TV; I can't begin to imagine how far more incredible it was to see it in person. You picked the right night to go to a Phillies game!
I was at last nights game (first of royals series) and the way we all got up for his bats was incredible and even tho I didn’t get to see this HR I’m so glad for him
Me too
I went Friday and his RBI single was the loudest I've heard since the playoff run last year lol
I’ve never seen anything like this but I wish I would see this more often! My hats off to Philly having the back of a player that’s struggling! Just an absolute classy thing to do and it just feels like the right thing to do is just show them support and get behind them. Trea probably feels like the weight of the world is off his shoulders.
This is a Beautiful Moment. Phillies Fan over 60 years from Alabama

Kruk says, "YES" right at the point of contact. True baseball guys know the pitch, the swing, the crack of the bat and when it all comes together in less than a second ;)
True Dat!
Didn't take a genius to figure out that ball was bashed into New Jersey 😅
W Philly fans and lets go Trea
What's up with turner why is he getting a ovation every time

I'm a Giants fan, but I love Trea Turner and I love Phillies fans. You can just feel that support for the team and each other.
Allright man!! Thats cool
Respect to you but we still hate Kapler lol
You know ball sir
Appreciate the support....national media and fans love to target Philadelphia fans every chance they get....mostly over an incident that happened 60+ years ago

This wonderful news has reached Japan. Phillies fans are role models and they deserve to be admired.
Cool!!!
As a Philadelphia sports fan, even more so a lifelong Phillies fan, this homerun and what led up to it undoubtedly ranks within the top five special moments for me. I understand that Philadelphia fans can catch a bad rap every now and again, but NO WHERE ELSE in baseball, or really any other sports platform in general, have I witnessed a fan base rally around a struggling player, and with love and support, pull that player out of the depths, to do something as wonderful as what Trea Turner did in yesterday's (on my birthday of all days) Phillies game! Go Phils!!!!
Well said! And happy belated birthday to you.
Don't forget they (we) did it for Bohm too.
And it pulled him out of his worst baseball in his mlb career. And he, after signing a mega deal in a tough town after blowing a game in the field doing not much at the plate, this changed the whole rest of his season and what looked like an abysmal yr turned into a good one after this, he became the hottest hitter, 9 homers in 10 games like a 15 game hitting streak, a good year. And more importantly, I think changes the future of his view of his stay in Philly, and might stay hot through the postseason starting Tuesday. That weekend of ovation after ovation knowing what the it umstances were and what happened after, is a documentary in itself especially if they win the ws with a hot trea? Good lord. It’ll be hard to top that 2022 run but this team is fun. Just as fun as the 93 team. And as talented as the 2010 team if they get a few aces they’ll be more talented on paper maybe than the 2011 team.
Ohh And look out for trout. Keep an eye on what’s unfolding this off-season with obtain and trout. He will wave that no trade to come home to Philly. Harper trout realmuto schwarber castellanos stott marsh bohm, Hoskins will have to go to make room for schwarber at 1st and dh when other guys like Harper schwarber and trout may need that dh or first base spot when not 100 pct. Their money is too much to be sitting on the bench while Hoskins plays first or dh. I think since they said they’re going hard for ohtani, let us know we’re still spending and in the window of winning, then the angels say trout can be traded if he wants to be. Where else would he want to play than here. Probably his dream watching the Phillies last postseason, and probably wants to be a part of it this yr. I think they’re gonna get him, he’s only owed 230 mil. But it will take probably painter, and possibly Abel. That’s two of the top ten righty prospects in mlb. Number 1 is painter, number 9 is Abel. And we get trout. Or they keep a pitcher and give up something else. Angels are looking to unload money and rebuild. Trout would be like getting Pete rose or Moses Malone. The guy that puts us over the top. If they win it all this yr. It’s a done deal. If they don’t, I think it’s a good shot. I move furniture for a living, well stage houses, and we did mike trouts new mansion in south Jersey. He’s making his home herewith a lake, a bridge over it, a huge mansion, and probably others around the world. But knowing what I know and what I saw, he is building a place to live and it’s right in Vineland nj. I actually have an eraser that the shipping company never sent with one of those like blackbirds, but are for markers and you just erase it with a chalk eraser looking thing. Well I got trouts daughters forgotten one. But I live like 50 miles from there lol.
This and the Alec Bohm moment. I love being a Phillies fan. I’m so pumped for tonight!
For all the death and strife it caused, Covid taught pretty much all of us what it's like to struggle through bad times, and we know that it's easy for people to step on you when you're down. To see a whole city consciously reject that and choose to reach down a helping hand instead, especially a down and dirty, cut-the-bullshit town like Philly, I mean... I know it's just a dumb game and I don't want to make it bigger than it is, but it was just such a beautiful, humane moment. I hope this team wins it all, I believe they have it in them, but regardless of what ends up happening, I'm going to remember this season for a long, long time.
He absolutely needed that homer and the standing ovations he’s gotten, hopefully this is the start of something great for him this year
I guess the STANDING OVATIONS instead of booing yesterday, helped Trea immensely. Philly fans can be a beautiful support system when they choose to be. GO PHILLIES!!!!
almost all players have slumps. Trea Turner is a classy guy and glad to see him get some relief from the criticism.
LOL, not "almost" but ALL PLAYERS...period.
@@TheCommunicationCoach I dont recall Tony Gwynn slumping. But yeah I agree
@@greggaskey5336Yeah Tony Gwynn is simply the best hitter the game has ever seen.
It's hard to consider it a slump when he's been playing this way all year
@@Blowfish_homicide it's like a career slump rather than a season slump lol
Let's go Trea!!!! Great mental resilience!!! He's been struggling so much and getting (fairly) criticized to no end.
How does he respond?
He thanks philly fans for the charity work he's been a part of, stayed positive because of some good at bats the night before, then smacks a go ahead 3 run HR.
He still needs to work to stay out of dipping again, but I've never got the sense that he's in this run of bad form due to a lack of trying.
He'll come around. Let's make the post season so he can redeem himself completely!!! Go Phillies!!!
Much love from a Delaware man living in Poland :)
I was thinking the same thing...if they make the playoffs, something tells me, with a clean slate, he will be a major problem for the teams they're playing
Philadelphia is the only city where the fans can get a team to a pennant and a player out of a slump through sheer tyranny of will.
that's my city right there, so proud!
Same this city is magical
@@cgotts1434I agree
What's up man lol

We are always behind you Trea!!! We just are passionate about our team

‘Son of a gun I love this place’ 💪🏻❤ We love you too Krucker… not many broadcasters have the experience or knowledge to say ‘yes’ knowing it’s gone before he even finishes the swing

Everyone needs to follow the philly captain he started this with trey turner. He has made watching the game fun
I’m a dodger fan but cant deny Phillie fans at that stadium is something else !

Trea has had a rough season this year, so it's nice to see him get a win here.
I'm a Phils fan but damn Bobby Witt Jr. is SPECIAL
Mets fan here, but this is amazing. Gotta give the fans a ton of credit.
I’m a dodgers fan but I love seeing trea get a big hit like that hopefully he keeps it up
Trea Turner, is unreal!!! His speed like AJ Brown. He can get from first to third, piece of cake. So fast, he is!!!! Reason he signed with the Phillies. He likes the fan base, while playing for Washington. Noticed fans, more into the game. Like Harper, signed here. Turner, is just a different breed.
This really gives me goosebumps. There really is no fans better than Philly fans
LETS GO TREA THERE YOU GO!!!!!!!!
God bless philadelphia man so much class no one gets its a philly thing
Phillies fans gave the support Trea needed and he delivered...beyond awesome!
MAN I LOVE THIS GAME !!!!!🎉
There are no better fans ANYWHERE!!!
I’m so glad people are standing behind him. I expected people to give him a hard time, which was probably the last thing he needed. Because in prior interviews after games he struggled in, you could see how defeated he was. Maybe this could be the point where he turns it around.
Alec Bohm initially didn’t understand Phillies fans last year booing him. He said he couldn’t stand CBP fans. Then he apologized. Phillies fans then embraced him for manning up. Bohm has been successful ever since. Turner now understands Phillies fans, too.
Good on you Philly, I had no idea the context of this clip getting back into baseball more recently and rallying behind your guy instead of fairweathering him is so cool to see.
Hope this is the start of a turn around for Trea! The fish also lost today and we gotta take advantage of these bottom feeder teams!
And it was...😅
@@psalmsurfer1
Yeah the fish couldn't survive on small ball and Trea is locked in now
01:20 This is how deep John Kruk is....
Bohm's jersey front and center, who last year once said, "I hate this f'ing place"(allegedly)
"Son of a gun I love this place".
Kruk is still fast on his feet verbally.
Treat Turner, really needed this moment, for the sport of it, but moreover, for his mental.
Great moment for Trea and the fans!
that bat flip was so darn smoooooooooooooth!
What an awesome moment in sports!
The icing on the cake is a fan with a Turner jersey got the ball! Sometimes baseball just makes sense.

I never forget the grandsram in wbc
"Son of gun I love this place". Me too.
I cried that day. Corny I know but Phillies bring me a lot of joy
He's been great since this game. He's added another 10 HR's at least.

It still feels incredible. I love our city.
This was awesome to see in person man
Ive been living here for 42 yrs so far. And the love he got has only happened a handful of times. It was necessary. Go get it phils
Damn, I don't even know the full context of why this felt special, but this clip alone sure feels special. Going back out for an extra cheer after hitting an absolute bomb to give your team the lead and getting such an electric response? He's gotta feel good for that.
Context is he’s been having a BRUTAL first season here, and the last series against the marlins was specifically bad and he even missed a routine play that lost us the game, in the post game he admitted he’s been bad and owned up to it all, so the crowd has been trying to show him they still support him even during the slump, so that curtain call salute was his way of saying thank you
This moment AND "Bedlam At The Bank" are close, but NOTHING will outshine Bryce's moment! 💯❤️⚾
For what they paid for him he needs more than a “Magic moment”
It's a beautiful game.
Encouragement is a great thing
I don't really follow much baseball, but this chilling feeling.... is this the "brotherly love" people always go on about? I have to admit, it's not too bad at all!
this is the why i love baseball
Trea that's one heck of a swing man

They won't, they're only making it worse by blocking out games for Faux, Peecock, CrappleTV, etc...
