I lived a very violent life early on. Whenever someone does something to act tough to me, I’m very humble. Number one because I do not want more regrets than I have, and number two I realize that acting that way is a sign of weakness. When people see it, they always side with the calm, well spoken one. As a teenager who lost her father, I'm so happy that there are people like this where they would teach us alot of profound and meaningful stuff that I can use in my life and learn as well. I know this is cringey but I feel like I have a father figure again, just by listening and watching these two gentlemen 😊

He was writing to his sons. He gave so many great words of wisdom. He was telling them how to be good men and what to look for in a good woman. They still delt with the basic things we deal with today, just in a different form.
My favorite is always "He who speaks with his tongue, speaks with his life, and he who opens his mouth to wide shall bring on his own destruction" Prov. 13:3

An old boss I had when I was 19 told me, you know people wouldn’t realize how stupid you are if you kept your mouth shut. That always stuck with me and helped me. Now that I am older I see exactly what he meant.

I am trying to be better at silence multiple times then I would like to count. That silence is truly golden.
When a person who is usually silent truly speaks out, people really listen. This is at least my experience.

Silence have helped me more than the words many times in life. My two sons were the biggest reason to learn how and when to use words before I open my month. We have to think what and how to say, if anything. Great podcast guys. Just love it. Some sentences just hit me. Love it!

I just found this channel, and it's so great to see you guys together, I've always love Mr Palminteri for the role he played in a Bronx tale, I truly love that film.

This thought came to me quite a while ago; you have two ears and one mouth, which means that you should listen twice as much as you speak.
