I havent seen the newer 700 series but last month i dropped by local shop and they had some 800 series 15 getting ready to go in a biuld and they are very beefy.
The 6 cube with 7 inch port. As long as the box isn’t too big for the sub the bigger the box the bigger the port is gonna give you more output 90% of the time . I had a 4.5 cube box tuned at 32 with 3.5 inch slot port got a custom made box that’s 6 cubes tuned at 32 with a 10 inch octoport and it was substantially louder and hit harder
@@M.B.Enclosures my 2-solo x 12” enclosure is I’m assuming 6 cubes which is the minimum recommended cubic ft. How much of a db increase should one expect per at 7? 8? I’m trying to see something here……
@@indigenous_goat4922 honestly 6.5 cubes be Max I’d go on 2 12s if youre pushing them hard but couldn’t wrong not super familiar with the square subs but should be similar but a bigger port will deff help and all depends on your ride could be a 1 db gain or even a 3 db gain.
