I’m back in Canada and I’m really missing the comforts of home so thank you for the upload, it’s keeping me smiling
Edit: I’ve never heard of or seen ploughman’s pickle in the shops. I think Branston came first, I recall the recipe being over 100 years old but I could be wrong.
Glad to hear that you're back! I did a bit of research while editing and it looks like branston is 1922 and states it's the original. Heinz deliberately has left out dates, but I can only find evidence into the early 60s of the ploughmans pickle.
@@TalentlessCooking I’ll speak to the family and see if they can locate a jar in any of our local supermarkets for when I’m back. You’ve piqued my curiosity now!!
Bang on the mark with it being 100 years, pointless knowledge is sometimes useful after all 😂
The name is too much for my child mind haha
I'm never going to not see that now! Lol probably going to stick to Branston anyway.
That's not cheese mate, gets some proper cheese.
What are you talking about? Canada has some of the best cheese in the world, believe me, I have tried hundreds of cheeses from around the world.
I think he means yellow crumbly aged chedder.. nor expressed particularly well though 😂
If I was you, I'd call it a day. You have way too much competition in this field.
