The one biggest piece that was good for me personally was to start way smaller with my course than I've been thinking about. I have a behemoth course about creating and selling wedding albums, but now I'm thinking about making it a course series that I can bundle instead.

I am a tutor and I don't have an email list of thousands. Also it would help to know what kind of course you created; they are not commodities.
Charlene Bell hi - not trying to intrude here but just ran across your question and thought I’d tell you the platform and tactics I use. I use Thinkiffic. It’s free to get started. There’s also Teachable and other platforms that offer similar services. Target your email list for the beta round. I recommend waiting until you have around 200 - 300 subscribers on your email list before you start pitching your course. Then pitch it and allow only a few (maybe 10) in the beta course (at a discounted rate) - then use the feedback from the beta folks to make the course better and start your product launch sequence to the rest of your email list. I would allow the beta folks access at no additional costs. Hope this helps!
