    Those decel snaps are the SAS air injector and that can be stopped by installing the graves block plate 🤜🏽🤛🏽

      Do you have to replace anything to install the Graves? Like the copper ring on the stock exhaust or just install as is

    Looks and sounds badass! Definitely aftermarket exhaust to reduce the weight. Love the IMS gas tank, air box mod etc. The popping is not so bad. I'm enjoying the build. Thanks.

    I've had a GET ecu on two of my bikes with nothing but good results. One was from the factory and the other from Jeff Slavens.

    Love your vids! Good luck with the RL build, though just getting an RL means you already won the lottery. I just cancelled my RL order after waiting more than 5 months and having Honda bump it out each month. Tired of being played. Picking up a brand new 690 Enduro R this weekend instead. Going to be selling a boatload of Brand New RL upgrade parts that I purchased while waiting for my RL...all NIB. I have a GET ATHENA ECU with Wifi and Switch; FMF Q4 and Megabomb header, Seat Concepts standard seat, x2 Twin Air Backfire-proof filters with aluminum filter cage, PC Racing Air filter gasket, x2 Honda exhaust manifold gaskets, Honda Service Manual, G2 Throttle tamer, Left and right control levers, 12 Oclock labs tail tidy, AXP Radiator guards, 450RX frame guards, and MVi adapter to mount an FMF Q4 on the stock header. It sucks that I won't be able to use all these on an RL, but I am tired of waiting and the Europeans have somehow been able to deliver. The Japanese took over the market from Europe in the 60s...now the Europeans are able to supply bikes and the Far East cannot. Heck, even Triumph is releasing MX bikes in a year or two. In five years we will all be riding Euro bikes because the Japanese manufacturers literally gave up all their market share during covid and the years after. Mark my words, gents! Hahahaha, just kidding.......but think about it.....

    I've got the Vortex and my friend has the GET, I have no issues whatsever and his bike is like yours, poppy and his bike isn't as fast as mine, believe it or not, they're almost identicle per power, his pulls just a smidge off bottom than mine but my mid to top pulls harder.

    • @MobMoto

      If the idle is set properly and the graves block off plate is used I don't have any decel pop on the Get ECU. Thanks for sharing brother

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  Před rokem

      theyre all good but the AIM and the Get are better packages with way more features and performance, they're the next-generation version of ECUs. Pro race teams are using the get ECU.

    I just picked up a used '21 RL with the FMF exhaust already on it and a vortex. I had the same decel pop as well until I did the San Diego powerhouse smog delete. That pretty much took care of it. Awesome bike man! So far I'm happy with mine. Can't wait for some more content

      @@MobMoto I know Taco moto is also against removing it. I just figured it came with the kit so why not install it and delete it all. I also live in Vegas so I figured can't hurt especially riding in the summer months. I'll see how it performs this winter though. Either way it's so much better without any smog crap on the bike!

    Great review! I'm not sure how restricted dirt bike ECUs are but on sportbikes they often cut power by more than 70% at certain revs. As good as Graves is, I think you're right that the flash brought you more than the pipe. gg

    Does the graves exhaust melt the turn signal with the baffle in out out? What exhaust did you want?

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  Před rokem +1

      The Graves exhaust is the one I wanted.
      My blinker is discolored but only from running the exhaust without the spark arrestor. The blinker did not melt its just a lil darker tint on the lens.

  • @speedber36
    @speedber36 Před rokem

    Hey! Excellent video!!!! I have a honda CRF450RL with a complete Yoshimura (for the honda 450X), it similar to this pipe, with an Athena GET ECU, and with or without the ECU the first part of the exhaust gets so hot it glows in the dark, within a couple of minutes with the engine running. Is that normal? It didn't do it with the stock exhaust.
    other thing is that backfires a lot. What do you think? Thanks a lot!!

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  Před rokem

      My Graves exhaust gets really hot at the header also, I think its kind of common on the aftermarket pipes.
      For the backfiring or deceleration popping its from an air leak into the exhaust. There is a graves plate you can buy that is needed to block off the air injection system that used fore the stock pipe. Once you put an aftermarket exhaust on the AIS needs blocked off. Thanks for watching hope that helps you.

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  Před rokem

      No, its just zeroing the bottom end to zero so the ECU recognizes the starting throttle position.

    Why do I never see anything about the crap start system? Brand new starter after replacing the entire system, the starter is loud and the splines are warn down causing me to flush the motor twice because of the metal chunks found in the oil filter. I do not understand. Nobody has issues?😮

    Pull off the filter screen and then put a panty-hose on the filter?? I don't think so dude. People loose their minds with these mods..

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  Před rokem

      Haha it’s a filter skin. It makes keeping the filter easier to keep clean. Opening the air box helps more oxygen to the motor. You can continue to run yours stock if that floats your boat.

    • @vanman724
      @vanman724 Před rokem

      You miss the point son; removing that heavy gauge filter screen (that has a useful function (keeping your filter from catching fire)) with the thought of increasing flow, and then putting a more air restricting thing on (pantyhose do-rag) is non-sensical, no?

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  Před rokem

      @@vanman724 The metal filter is not less restrictive than a filter skin. They also make filters that wont catch fire. nobody is using panty hose but you continue to argue points that are not true.
