If memory serves the reason why the mold never managed to spread beyond the Baker Estate is because Joe was so good at killing them all. He single-handedly held the line until Ethan stumbled across what was going on.
That must have been painful.
Spending years, fighting monsters from your family’s direction, never knowing if you killed them or if they’re still alive or if the mold got them...
I’m glad he was at least able to save Zoe, and was able to finally find what became of his brother. I can’t even imagine the pain he would have been in had he found none of them made it.
That is amazing.

@@LegitParchment Probably concerned about if he tried he could lead the molded right to their doorstep or he was so busy killing them the thought never occured to him.
The issue with Joe is the Baker family appeared human until Ethan got involved. Considering how much he cares about them it he would likely not even realize something is wrong until either he was killed or infected by Eve. Him staying away indirectly saved his and Zoe's life.
My guy was legit guy punching viruses and winning.

The point where Prod enters the church and sees Zoe before he was turned around and punched is the exact same scene as the Ethan "welcome to the family son" punch cutscene.

Joe literally took on a swamp full of mold monsters that most wouldn't go up against with shotguns and anti-rounds, along with his mutated brother who survived a chainsaw duel. And he did it with nothing but some homemade throwing spears and his fists. What a fucking beast of a man.

DAMN RIGHT IT'S THE BEST! I don't think it's the best DLC I've ever played, but I think for me it's the best of RE DLC. I'd say Lisa the Joyful is my favorite DLC ever.

I had a d&d (pathfinder technically) that was a lot like Joe. Name was Conrad, and he was a brawler, and later a kineticist. Just boxed and tavern-brawled his way through every fight, and even got lightning punches later on. Such a fun character, and he was fun to roleplay too.

Undeniably? As far as I can tell, up to that point in the story, besides Mia being Ethan's wife, she's given him no reason to rescue her, meanwhile Zoe has been helpful, and not getting taken over by a psychic monster constantly

You know from the clues i can gather from jacks brother joe he was apart of a squad in the B.S.A.A who died besides him and when he said the solider was lying on the whole cure thing that would mean he knows what umbrella is and thinks that the blue umbrella are the same corp.
Ahhh makes more sense he confuse them with being the same corporation with the Umbrella Corporation.BSAA is using biological weapons in RE8.
