ok. what a small world. I talked to you at SNF about some Whelen Lights for my Cardinal. And here I am watching you fly the RNAV 23 into DTN, which happens to fly directly over my house after the FAF. And now I find out that you are here at my home airport. Love to go up with you sometime in that 210, I fly my Cardinal RG out of there, hangared right around the corner on Romeo.

@@TheFlyingSalesman Yes sir, I became a member before I even bought my cardinal. I live in Tiburon, so the Final approach is right over the house. When I am teaching instruments, sometimes I'll have my kid go outside as we pass over to wave!

@MerlinspopTBH, thank you for the feedback and I will do that. On this flight I filed KDTN JIPUK KTKI. JIPUK is the IAF for the ILS to 18. This tells ATC that I am planning on shooting the approach. I am aware that I rarely be given this clearance. There are two arrivals into the DFW area I have been assigned YEAGR and LOADS, I never know which they will use or which transition. This flight was the first time I was cleared to ZEKKE so I had to find it on the arrival. Same for the HOU terminal area, I have NEVER received the same clearance twice and have filed previous assigned routes and given something different.
I just realized you were watching the SNF video and not my latest... Same thing applies to the SNF flight though. I was unfamiliar with the airspace so I filed a route similar to the one I flew in on. Let me know if you have other questions.
