I had the same issue regarding string action. Then I found that Takamine puts shims under the saddles…popped them out one night before a show and it was a completely different animal. The action was perfect for me at that point. Just a word of advice for anyone else than runs into that issues.

Is it a full size guitar. I'm bass player and I bought it for $75 online. It feels small but not sure if it's because I'm use to bass guitar.
