So I ended up entering Korea the day after you left. April 5. I really liked Korea. I was originally planning to only visit Seoul but ended up staying one week and I also spent time in Busan and Daegu. Busan is such a cool place. The city has so much to offer, and the people are very nice. Will definitely go back.

Whats the best time to visit korea? And what places are best(in your view) to tour of one likes mountains, walking, hiking, connecting to ppl?
In my opinion, autumn is the best time to visit Korea! Then you can enjoy fall foliage and cooler weather. In winter, you do have to pack thicker clothes (which fills up your suitcase in the blink of an eye lol). In summer, gets hot and humid. Though not as humid as Southeast Asia, so if you're from Southeast Asia, Korean summers will be very easy. But if you get hot easily, then hot and humid summers of any kind is probably not your best friend haha. Spring is great if you see cherry blossoms, but can be hard to time it perfectly. We barely missed the peak blooms during our trip (they bloomed slower than forecasted). In spring, you do have to consider yellow dust (we experienced it during the trip, but cleared up within about 48 hours).
Haven't had extensive experience with hiking in Korea, however I did do Bukhansan (north of Seoul) and Seongsan Ilchulbong on Jeju Island. You might enjoy Seoraksan and the nature opportunities around there. Years ago while hiking Bukhansan, we met other traveling hikers and went to a Korean BBQ restaurant afterwards near the trailhead. You might meet other friendly hikers on your time there too! 🤩
