I remember the first card I could convince my parents to pay for was the Conor vs cowboy card because it was Conor mcgregor and they had heard of him before. You can call me a casual if you like and just keep doing that; box out every fan who hasn’t been watching for 10 plus years pushing that cultures great for the sport. Or chill out and enjoy the new blood in the mma community the fighters seem to love it so I don’t see why so many fans decide to try and poison the well and chase off anyone who tries to enjoy something they are a fan of.

Which is not to say these are bad choices (some of them are definitely a little limited though) but they definitely don’t showcase someone watching this stuff in depth so hard you form a connection with the undercard, and it certainly speaks to being nostalgic for an era gone by.
