- In this video i would show you the fuse box of our motorcycle and show you how check and replace the fuses. Also in this video i will show you the location of electrical relays and how to replace them.
Fuse details( Right of bike to left)
F1 Alternator - 30A Green
F2 Mains - 30A Green
F3 EFI - 15A Blue
F4 Indicators- 10 A Red
F5 Horn - 10A Red
F6 Lightnings - 15A Blue
F7 Accessories - 10A Red
F8 ABS - 10A Red
F9 ABS - 25A Grey.
3 spare fuses of each Amp rating , no spare for 25amp grey fuse
4 relays under the left side cover, details are mention on the relays.
top 2 are for starter and fuel pump bottom ones are acc.

Bro you saved my journey, my interceptor was not starting in between some desnse forest, i tried changing the fuel pump relays, but still didnt work, after I checked your video and replaced the blue fuse it started fine, but the thing is the old fuse is not fault or anything its looks fine but not working, its strange. Could be carbon deposit on the old fuse if it is not broken.

Please make video on RR unit replacement
Sir i no longer own the motorcycle i will try to make one if possible. But the placement for rr unit is at a very tight place and we need a lift to work plus few other stuff needs to be removed first

Take out the fuel pump relay clean it and fix it back. Check my UPDATED relay vdo. Or the mil light vdo for reference.

I have a 2023 continental gt 650. There are some problems in it. I have driven it for 2500 kilometers and have also got its second service done. I have never driven it harshly and never took it above 5k rpm and have always used the clutch with love. The bike runs well for 5,10 kilometres but after it behaves like ton of load is loaded on the bike and struggles to accelerate
Hi sorry for late reply.
Seems like something is acting up after motorcycle getting heated. Could be gases inside the tank, next time it happens stop and open the tank for 10-20 seconds then close and ride and see if it helps. If this works then ask the service centre to take off the tank and clean the evap drain tube and overflow tube, plus check the purge valve.
If this doesn't work then ask them to check the RR unit in hot condition and cold both and see if it is faulty or not.

Relay contact problems are very rare in new vehicles
In re twins RE have put excessive grease on the relay which is causing relay contact problem in even new Motorcycles. Reducing or cleaning the grease helped in thia case
Are you facing these relay problems frequently?
I had the MIL glowing on multiple occasions even when it was new, company service center could not diagnose it as nothing came in their tool. I cleaned the pump relay and it never came back. Made a video on that too You can check on my channel. Mil issue resolved video.
This has helped many in stalling issue few Owners face starter relay issue due to exess grease but they solved it with my method

But how do I know if the relay is busted or not? I got my bike pressure washed today, came home and parked it, hours later its not starting again. I cant hear the fuel pump and the neutral like is flickering
Could be just water ingress in either fuse or relay. Fuse u can check by pulling it out and dry them and fix back. Same for relay clean and fix back. To check relay for being busted just replace it with spare one.
What is the white color plug next to the fuse . Minevlooks disconnected
Probably the IAT sensor you are talking about. Plug it back.
How come the indicator fuse is 10 amp? When the box says 15 amp
15 is for whole lighting system for indicator it is 10 pull it out and chk. On mine it was 10.
Brother.. My gt 650 abs indicator keeps flickering when on ideal and the light is very dim unlike other indications in console.. Will this help replacing the fuse or chevking if it's fused..? And what about if grey last abs is fused.? Where is spare of that or what to use.? And also by cleaning relays. Will it help.?
Check the fuses first and see if it is blown or not. There is no spare for 25amp grey fuse you have to buy it from spare shop it is easily available.
But it is probably your rr unit is acting up or the abs motor or sensor, if all the fuse are fine the go to service center and get the rr unit checked.
Recently I started having a problem in RE interceptor 650 (Jan 2022 model). The engine was not starting and as usual the problem was fuel pump not starting(bzzzz noise not coming) but after a few mins it startes and when I reached home and parked my bike then after starting again the one 15amp fuse was blown up. Any idea on what must be the issue?
Clean the fuel pump relay for excessive grease and monitor it for few days. Usually it is a issue with relays company will give u replacement relays if the issue is not sorted out. For efi fuse blowing it could be due to repeated attempts to start the motor with pump picking up. More diagnosis can be done with the obd device at service center.
@@ijs_diy I did try to start the bike multiple times with fuel pump not starting and also a give a but of throttle. Thanks for replying just cleaned the relays.
In my new interceptor (2688 km run) rpm is fluctuating leading to engine shut down,some times,& batery light is glowing all the time..what to do..pls help...from kolkata.
Get the RR unit checked, probably it is faulty and needs replacement.

Its either the faulty speed sensor on the front wheel, take it out and apply some grease and see if it helps.
Or it would be the faulty meter, they will replace it in warranty.

Yes you can get these relay from auto parts store. Try minda relays.

Hello Bro, my continental gt not starting, I check every fuse , battery is also okay. Starter motor is not taking round. There is tick sound coming from relay . What can be problem?
This is probably the battery fault how old is the battery?
Sometimes old batteries can keep horn and lights working but fail to work the starter motor.
If the battery is 2+ years old the do get it checked and charged if week and down then buy new.
For starter you can chek the starter relay, for this check my updated relay video.
The tik tik from relay mostly indicate a week battery failing to provide enough current to the motor.
@@ijs_diy I got it checked, motor is fine but battery is not charging. It can be RR unit. RR unit is prone to fail as location of RR unit is behind engine where it can heat. Please make some video why RR unit keeps failing and what can be Solution. Like it’s relocation.
@@baljindersinghbrar5162 unfortunately relocating the rr is difficult as the main line coming from alternator is short and also there isn't any other suitable place.
Replacement is also bit tricky as few parts needes to be removed to access the rr. RR in initial batches is known to have issues and re have replaced it under warranty. See if ur bike still has warranty to get rr in claim.
Plus the main point of checking rhe battery is to notice the volts drop when u hit the starter , if the volts drops below 10 then definitely the battery is at fault and it won't hol the charge , on surface even a bad battery shows 12+ volts you need to check the volt drop at starter.
Making is video on rr replacement is currently not possible for me as have no access to the motorcycle but would definitely try to make one when it is possible.

There is no fan in Interceptor or Gt 650.
Its linked to the same one as the reverse light!
Do i have to add a new relay in order to replace stock horns to new ones?
No, unless the new ones are ultra power consuming. But why u need extra stock dual horns are loud enough

Hi friend, which fuse affects the speedometer? Mine is not working properly
No fuse for the speedo meter in the box, if the needle is acting weirdly then take ou the speed sensor from the front wheel clean , re grease and fix back.
If the light and other display is acting up the get the rr unit checked or it could be a faulty speedo meter. If current is not regulated properly by the rr unit the the meter doesn't work sometimes.
U can also unplug the meter from inside of the headlight dome and replug is to see if it works.
What is the cost of 30amp fuse?
Should be under 50 rs , haven't bought one yet but bought 20 amp same type fuse for a different purpose a while back and it costed only 10 rs each. You can buy it from auto spare parts dealers.

The factory relays are garbage, i recommend replacing with high quality brand name units as its very cheap insurance.
