Hey bro , could you please help me out.... my. Gt650 works fine for the first 15 minutes( the time period for which engine is warm , not hot.. just my guess) ...l it starts to shut off randomly after getting hot or after fueling up ( everytime I fuel up , it starts to shut off randomly) and .... if I try to turn on ignition just after imy motorcycle shuts off or engine power cuts off , the start button doesn't respond and THE START BUTTON RESPONDS ONLY AFTER I TOGGLE THE KILLMSWITCH OFF AND ON ... only then my bike ignition works and my motorcycle starts .... and again after few minutes it will turn off while riding and the cycle continues ............. I observed this mostly after I put fuel into my bike ... also the MIL will turn on temporarily .... .. what might be the issue .... RR unit ? Relays? Fuel, pump ?? What is it??
First and prime suspect is the RR unit, as a faulty rr unit starts acting up only when it gets hot and then irregular current can cause other functions to fail. Next is to get the kill switch check just to make sure nothing is short, And do get the evap drain tube cleaned and make sure no water in the tank.
Paaaaji Dhono haath Jod ke help maang raha hu.... I have a gt650 and it's shutting off randomly during riding.... and self start ignition button responds only if I turn ignition switch off and on...... then self works and bike starts but after 2 minutes it stops again.... I notice this mainly after filling petrol , most of the times engine MIL .I got will be on temporarily for 1 hour or so.... showroom guys could not find issue
@@ReddyHHH210 ask them to change and and check with new ignition switch and check rr unit in hot condition

@@ReddyHHH210 ignition switch and rr unit both needs to be checked. One friend has faced similar issue and his ignition switch was faulty, it wa replaced under warranty and rhe issue is gone. Many interceptor and gt owners have got this replacement, and rr unit in 650 series is notorious so that needs to be checked in hot condition.
Hi mate. Thank you for this video. I have an issue on my bike. It started when I'm cruising 100/kph and then the engine stalled. It will start in neutral but when I step in the gear,the engine will turn off. It will not crank when depress the clutch. Just wondering if it's the clutch sensor or the sidestand switch is the issue.
@@chief777able probably the side stand sensor or the roll over sensor has failed.
@@ijs_diy thanks for the reply. I might check the clutch sensor first coz it's easier to access. Just wondering if you have a video on accessing the side stand sensor harness?
@@chief777able no I don't have video on side stand sensor, it is located at a complex place u might need to put the motorcycle on a lift to access it. It is somewhere close to the RR unit.

If I don’t use bike for 10 days then battery gets drained , anyone else facing same issue with XMR ?
@@girishtotlani8576 hi. If ur motorcycle is from the early lot then you need to get a replacement battery belt, i am not totally sure but the old lot has some metal holding the battery in place and it was recalled and replaced with the rubber strap. Get it checked. If this is not the case then battery needs to be checked along with rr unit and alternator for proper charging and with holding the current.

Hi! I'm facing the same problem and I already cleaned that grease. Do you remember if the fail went out at the first start or it took some time/kilometers to going off? Thank you!!
@@AJIERROCONELLA it went away the first time only. You can try to swap the fuel pump relay with the spare relay and see if ut help or get a new relay from market. Check the updated relay vdo i have made for the relay locations.

Hello brother, my instrument cluster glass got cracked, so can you please help me with it please, is it possible to change the glass if yes then where can i buy it from, or i have to change the whole instrument cluster.
@@dmtmusic1657 they don't sell the glass seperately, if it cracked on its own then claim warranty, else find some local meter repair guy and he will get the glass made for it . Re don't sell the glass top pars separately.

Sir where is the flasher relay?? I saw other bikes has this, but I can't find it..... I changed the indicators of bike... When I install all 4 indicators, non of them work... If I install 2 of them and 2 is stock, it will work but blinks very fast... Saw some videos, saying if I change the flasher relay it will work properly, but can't find the location of it... Can you please help me with this
@@Zeus31345 the flasher is integrated into the circuit board of the console so can not change it. The work around would be to Put a indicator relay on the grey wire coming from the switch gear(behind the headlight) & attach the power connector of relay to ignition. This work around was shared by someone who is successfully using it.
