So *DEFINITELY* not the Hero sensor lol - your boy needs a day off. This is using the 5G Advanced 18k - not the Focus+ that you see in their flagships. Could I tell a difference? No.

Such an awesome mouse. I love how Razer refined the G305 shape, making it not a complete ambi mouse, and not keeping the full egg shape. All we need now is a Viper Ultimate Mini/V2. Small mouse user are gonna love this.

There's the Delux M800 which is slightly bigger and corepads just came out with feet for them.

@@h3llb1lly889 switch compatibility works with any mx style switch. The hotswap is south facing so there wont be any clearance issues if you use cherry profile caps. Also the switch sockets are 5 pin so no need to clip your switch legs

As a designer this has been the best mouse I've ever used in my career. I even prefer it over 200$+ mice that I owned and loved. I bought 4 of them and plan on using them for many years.
same , i have the glorious o-,i, & deather adder & i use this the most if not 90% of the time bc of the comfort

Super nice looks like a new 305 but upgraded. Dude the battery weight thing def proves they were inspired by it.
ngl: saw this pop up (cuz, y'know, the bell) and came here just to click on the aff link. Literally pulled out my OG Orochi two days ago because I was seriously thinking of switching back to it -- had a rotating series of "new mains" on my desk I'm never 100% happy with, and the Orochi was the only shape that has ever perfectly fit my hand size/grip style. That alone is enough for me to click "buy" on the v2 and at least give it a shot.
(...ok, ok, for the hardcore Razer fans that are gonna comment: I know, there are two "OG Orochis," I was considering *both* - yes, I own both - pulled them both out, so far am thinking I prefer the first version but only slightly. Pulled out my old Atheris for the same reason, actually, similar shape but the v1.0 Orochi still wins.)
Another banger video, imo there are some spicier options in the budget wireless mouse category like the Delux M800!
Viper mini was been my main since it came out. I want to hold out for the mini ultimate but this looks so nice

80 Dollars is now Budget? I am using the Steelseries Sensei Raw for nearly 10 Years (my second). Back then, it was 50 Dollars and one of the more expensive ones
Snagged the white one for $40 on Microsoft store as part of their holiday sale. I lean towards mid-weight mice so the option to use AA batteries is nice. The Bluetooth is a big plus since I will use it for work mainly connected to a Mac.
Is the white color durable enough? No stains or yellowing?
This man is hands down putting out some of the best tech content. Keep killing it!
If you want a slightly larger Orochi, the Fantech XD7 is also a good option

Well I was considering a Glorious Model O Wireless for an upgrade from my G305, even though I hated the FK1 I had before and the Model O has the same shape and also rocketjumpninja pointed out QC issues on that, but now that THIS exists all those problems are fixed and then some. This is a straight up upgrade from my g305 without sacrificing what I love about it - the shape, size and battery life. Thanks for opening my eyes to this one Brian! Definitely gonna be looking for this! Also I'm gonna pick up that same wood wrist wrest from glorious for 60/80% boards, cause that thing looks quality and it has your photo on it :P
Smol Boi packin' some heat! Just not sure I'd like it very much as a main, I palm grip... my favorite mouse is still the G-Wolves Sköll, which I've heard is having a wireless version worked on with a bit of a design tweak as well.
Glad you found a new main, it's such a nice feeling for peripherals to be just ''right'', you know what I mean? For me its the MM711, the shape is just perfect for me. Need a mouse with some hump :)

@@joozywoozy The Orochi if you use fingertip grip. The Model O if you use claw or palm grip

Still rocking the Glorious Wireless and been loving it since. This guy's a little too bitty for my catchers mitt of a hand. Nice setup! Been trying to get my lighting like that. I want to wow someone on a zoom call lol
One of my major questions I had on it was concerning their advertised weight of "< 60g" and wondering if that was including battery. You answered my question in detail as I've come to expect, but I was really surprised you didn't mention their omission on said details. Not at all knocking you, you're just REALLY good at staying on top of communicating for the sake of consumer advocacy. Obviously, a few grams isn't a big deal, but upwards of 80g with a battery definitely isn't less than 60g as stated on the sales blurbs and official tech specs, haha. The people that care are no doubt going to know what specific battery size and compound to buy for weight reduction, but Razer's marketing should really be transparent about that regardless for an experience that meets expectations they're setting.

Great review as always. I just bought this mouse after my g603 scroll wheel click started failing and I love it. But I would not call € 80 for a mouse 'budget'. It's the most expensive mouse I ever owned and I think it is a lot of money for what is a mouse.

you said soo many good things about it so i bought this mouse. And now i got to know I can’t use it on my new macbook pro! Like whattt!!?? Razer doesn’t makes software for mac os, thats just sad and now i cant even return it, because amazon won’t take returns on it only replacement 🤦🏼♀️. :(
