Laughing when Burt said “it’s 22 degrees, summertime!” It’s 90 here in FL this week.😂
Hello 👋 how are you doing today??
I thank God for our weather in Kentucky it was in the 70's.
Seeing dad and son out in the snow having a blast is priceless.
Sunny and 86 in Florida today, bring the family for a visit!
In central Michigan we had Ice everywhere. We lost power. So many others were not as blessed we we were. 1st we were prepared for some time without power. 2nd we are on the mainline, therefore, our power was restored first. Still the Grandkids had to watch their cell phones with rechargeable lights and I had to use an 150w inverter for my heating pad and a bigger inverter set up for my CPAP . As with all bad times, you learn to do something better or different the next time. I'm planning to purchase a larger inverter and batteries for a small 200w heater I have.
Today is 3-1-23 and we are in lower Michigan. Had an ice storm a week ago and lost power. We were the lucky ones who lost it Wednesday night at 8 p.m. and had it back on Friday morning about 11 a.m. Still have some people without it tonight, but should be very soon for them. Companies from a lot of other states come in and help get people back up and running. So thankful for these linemen who came to help. Lots of trees down and it's been a mess. Now they are predicting 6-8" of snow Friday!
Burt you are one amazing Dad and husband. You get it all done to make sure your family is taken care of. You may think it’s not a big deal, when in fact it is a rare thing to see these days. You and Jessica both work hard to take care of the fam. A warm hot meal to come home to is a blessing. Teamwork is so important in a family. Kids thrive in an environment where there is stability and it is very evident in your kids. I just wanted to let you know that we appreciate the example that your family sets. It is refreshing to see and that’s why I love your channel.❤
OMG! Livie is to cute for words. Her and Garrett playing together is so cute.
You would laugh, they cancelled school at 1inch of school, Portland got more, however we are closer to the coast. Was closer to 1 to 2 inches here
When I heard the squeals from Garrett, I thought he was driving 😂 He is such a little man 💪🏼 ❄️ Great job helping Dad get ready for the storm.
We are dealing with tornadoes in Oklahoma already. Last Sunday night was fierce. Stay warm Somers family. Enjoy your videos.
Hello 👋 how are you doing today??
Jessica has family in Arizona so I'm sure you all have heard about all of the rain we've had this winter. Plus Northern Arizona has gotten slammed with snow. Flagstaff alone has received over 118 inches, the Grand Canyon has received 187 inches in the North Rim and 118 inches in the South Rim. However those figures don't include today's total since I haven't heard how much more they received.
Great music!!! 💖🎶🎶🎶
I am inspired by it. I am struggling with my health and it terrifies me. I am looking forward to Spring!!! You are an inspirational family. 🤗💖🎶🎶🎶🙏🙏🙏🇨🇦
In NY, all the snowstorms keep missing us! I love it!
Weve been very lucky ,here in NYC,,it hasn't been too cold either
I'm about 3 hrs east of Buffalo. It's been mostly warmer here, too!
@@jbf2045 Im in Brooklyn and we haven't had any real snow at all and our temps are like the lowest in the low 20 s ,,stay safe
I love how your kids are "really" taught what being part of Family Really means .As they are getting older it becomes so clear that you are teaching them how a family works together. Garret helping you prepare for a storm is just o one example of how well you guys work together. Ver touching that all the kids are involved to include and take care of baby Olivia. We are having a very mild Winter in NYC. Personally I am loving that. No snow accumulation at all. That means there was no need to shovel and salt and for me no need to rely on hiring people to take care of that.
Hello 👋 how are you doing today?
We are in PA, and its been warmer then normal and no snow at all yet. Our daffodils are blooming. Its been crazy warm this winter.
Love seeing Garrett out there with dad great parenting. Libby is growing so much and so precious, she will be well protected by her Big Brother you can see that already. Miss seeing y’all more often but understandable. Love 💕 y’all!
Hello 👋 how are you doing today?
I love the way you teach you son how to do the chores around the house so as he becomes a young man he knows how to do them. And he really wants to help, it’s not a chore or burden to him. Praise God. Kids in the lower 48 don’t know what they are missing. Good job Dad.
The girls do a lot too!
Am a lower 48 kid if you live in a rural state or city you know hard work as well. Don’t count all the lower 48 kids out thank you 😊👊🏻👌🏻❤️
Hi Happy Peoples!! Today in southwest Virginia the temp was 66 degrees, the trees are budding, and the flowers are blooming. Of course, next week we are due for more cold weather, so winter isn't thru with us yet. Love and warm wishes to your sweet family from the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, and of course, Va. Tech Hokie Nation!!!!!!!
Minnesota resident here, and it takes a lot of snow to completely shut down activities in winter. Southwest Minnesota roads were closed two times this winter when the winds kept blowing preventing plowed roads to stay clear
A few years ago at Christmas time we were in Washington state and the man at the car rental desk wanted us to rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We made the comment that we were from Minnesota and drive in snow all the time. He responded that in Minnesota we have the plows to clear the roads...yes, we do.
Sending well wishes to EVERYONE affected by this crazy weather -- We live in Mesa, AZ (enough said) -- sending continued prayers your way 💕
Be safe thank you Oregon 🌲🌲🌲🧚🕊️🙏🏾🙏🏾
I am moving to Mesa.
I live in Ontario Canada and this past month we have had three "bad stprms". The first was a lot of snow. I went out to my brother's funeral an hour away. .Roads were ok just bitterly cold. Second snow rain freezing rain. I didn't go out not even to work. To many people who have no idea how to drive. I stayed home and cleaned and cooked and relaxed. A luxury for me...
Third storm lasted about 3 hrs and we got almost a foot of snow. Was out and about the whole day no issues... It warmed up and was slush by morning..I got my driver's license over 40 yrs ago day after a huge storm so driving in this weather is not an issue for me...
Awesome family and wish I was part of it. Your children are truly amazing. Caring kind and so helpful.
you know you are a true Alaskan when you eat ice cream outside in sub zero weather. always prep for snowfall at anytime during the winter, cause it can come at any moment so always be prepped
Our storms look like tornadoes or ice. We had a major sleet storm a few weeks back & it was crazy. Then a few nights ago, a town about an hour away got hit by a tornado. We get thunder snow & ice storms too. In spring, we flood, lots of flash flooding & scorching hot summers. It’s never dull around here weather wise, that’s for sure. I’m in Oklahoma.
We are getting a lot of snow today blizzard warning stay home if you dont have to go out .
I love you guys SO MUCH!!! You never cease to make me smile!!
We have rain storms in Johannesburg, South Africa. Ran into cloudburst picking up kids from school on Monday. When I realised I have no umbrella or raincoat. Had to take my shoes off and was soaked to the skin. Water ran like rivers in street. But it was fun AFTER we made it home.
I feel for you guys we are having warm weather right now no anticipation of any storms, I feel for everyone dealing with these storms coming in!
Garrett is a great helper Dad!!
Keep staying warm. I will keep sending prayers your way 🙏.
Our cross country coach calls kids like Garrett rubber bands. Nothing hurts them! Enjoy it while it lasts! 😂
Yall are awesome. I love how Garrett gets out there and helps his dad with everything ❤️
Yes Burt, take us with you! Love your work trips! Good luck Evelyn!
I live in North Carolina and the weather here has been warmer than usual '60s and '70s can't complain.
I feel like you guys fixed whatever wasn't normal in your family and you're back! And it's nice to see you again!
Your video is making my night as I am sitting here in the dark with no power stay safe and warm
Enjoyed Watching as Always Stay Blessed
You guys are amazing parents and family. I love watching your contents, very entertaining and inspirational. Keep up the good spirit guys! You don't know how you make a difference in people's life out there. God Bless you abundantly!
Your teaching is right on.
I'm glad y'all are safe 🙏
I m from Jacksonville, FL, and went on a family ski trip to Colorado a couple of weeks ago and when I was leaving the grocery store, groceries in cart, I thought of your family, remembering how hard you say it is to roll the cart in the snow. Yup, you are so right. Good luck to Evelyn on her meet this weekend! Love your family.
we've had a mild winter till this week, now, lots of snow! I live on the coast of Maine and we usually get rain, the rest of the state gets snow. we've gotten about a foot of snow this week. be safe. love how your children all help out at home.
Your videos always fill me with warmth and joy. Thank you for bringing so much light to my world. We have had ZERO snow all winter--first time this has happened since the late 1800s!! It is supposed to be 70 here today. It is so odd for us in the mountains of Virginia!
We are experiencing high winds and it’s in the low 70’s Love this cool winter weather in Hawaii. Doesn’t last very long.
I live in northern Minnesota. March is very unpredictable. We have hockey and basketball tournaments this month and notoriously have big snow storms that have hit during this time. Minnesota state high-school hockey tournament is very special, and dare I say "famous"!
Here in Toronto we had a fairly mild winter. Then February hit! Freezing rain, ice pellets, snow, rain....and storm warnings or watches at least once a week!
I'm ready for spring!
I live upstate NY and we usually have a lot of snow. But this past couple of years it's slow down we get winter from October thru April . This weekend we are getting out first snow accumulation making up for a quiet winter. Garrett is growing up to be a wonderful young boy he's so cute. Love how the family sticks together and gets it done God bless you all
NE Ohio here...not much snow this year! Hallelujah praise God! Love to look at it but hate driving in it! So happy to watch your channel..it's so uplifting...thank you? God bless you and your family 🙏 💕
Happy Wednesday, SOMERS. It’s now March. I hope you’re having a good day. With February on the rear view mirror, it’s now March. I hope you’ve enjoyed your Valentine’s Day holiday last month. Plus, Saint Patrick’s will take place on The 17th of March. Also, much prayers and love to you SOMERS in the winter storm. Even though, it’s March and spring, the West Coast are still into the snow, Alaska. So SOMERS, stay safe during the spring season while you still have snow. I hope you SOMERS have a good day. Continue on your road on getting the giant gold play button.🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Has it ever been so bad you've been stuck in the house. Also love your teaching your kids independence. They are so lucky all four of them to have you two as parents. Everything crossed ✝️
I live in Florida we are having 85 weather sunshine, blue skies low humidity. Olivia is so beautiful and Garrett playing was so cute.
Wow that meal looks so good! I love watching your family..its very healing on my heart ❤️
Hello 👋 how are you doing today??
Garrett is very helpful to his father, God bless you, Garrett Winter is beautiful with lots of trees covered with snow We gets a inch of snow and rain to melt the snow .I live in New York
Hello Somers Family. Sorry it is 84 and SUNNY here in Orlando today. time to go swimming again. lol. Hope you make it through all the crazy weather up there. Good luck on your meet Evelyn. YOU GO GIRL YOU GOT THIS
We had a good winter so far in Nova Scotia. Snow storm coming today 15 to 25 centimetres. Good time to stay home with a nice cup of tea beside the fire.
Beautiful weather, sunny and 100 tomorrow with wind 25-30. Perfect pool weather in Rio Grande Valley TX.
Florida weather is so perfect right now.
In Northeast Wisconsin we got about 15 inches of snow last Wednesday-Thursday but it isnt super cold here, about 30's for highs. We usually dont have issues with our electricity. I just had surgery so i wasnt able to get out to do it myself. Lucky for me my neighbors and family have stepped in to deal with that stuff and get me to appointments and get groceries. Good luck to you all in your storm.
It was sunny n 68 degrees, today in the Orlando region!!
Good luck on your event
Miss Evelyn!!
Stay warm..stay safe..
Be " Happy Peoples"!!!!
👍🧙♂️🐺!!!
Our weather in VA is gorgeous. 60s and 70s. Be safe out there.
Evelyn good luck at your meet! 🍀 you are a awesome gymnast! 🏆🥇🤸🏻♀️😁👋🏼☺️ Somers Family! 🥰
Mild winter in Michigan. Love seeing you guys.
We just had a 17" snowfall. Luckily we also have snowplows. I usually just hunker down during the snow or ice storms. Glad you are all ok.
Beautiful weather in florida
It makes me want to cry with sweet tears of joy with seeing you videos of your kids during teaching. Praise be to God. You family is such a blessing to us all that watch and that happen up on you channel.
Just LOVE Ya’ll❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi from California. We are getting rain and snow so we really don’t know what to do but stay home. At least it will help our drought and help the trees. Stay safe and warm.
Blessings to your family hello from Florida 85 today here 🙏☮️😎
Here in CT we had our first snowfall of the winter. We got about 5" yesterday. Glad to see you again.
Such a sweet , blessed family 😊😊❤🇺🇸
In tornado alley awaiting the next series today-tonight. Very warm. Lots blooming already here in NE Alabama!
I would love to get snow where I live and I always live vicariously through your videos 😂
Here in TN we’re in tornado watch and flood warning. You have a beautiful family. Blessings from the Wilkinson’s family
Here in Maryland we have had around 70’s in February and some days of 30’s and 40’s with a dusting of snow but nothing too bad.
Its been in the upper 70's to low 80's in Georgia. I have been wearing shorts for the past week or so. Strong to severe storms are forecast for Friday. The pollen is also insane for this early in the year, EVERYTHING is yellow.
Here in North Carolina, we are enjoying weather in th 70's, record highs for February. We had about 20 flakes of snow, highly unusual for our area, a snow free winter this year, but rain and cold returning.
Here in northern Ohio it’s been a boring winter, tbh. Not much snow for us this year. We really enjoy the snow. 😊
I know the feeling. We have gotten 8+ inches of snow so far today in Groom Creek, Arizona , south of Prescott…Flagstaff has gotten 120 so far ,ski area Snow Bowl has 300 so far…what a winter !
You guys never seem to amaze me you’re an awesome family yes we have been getting really weird weather where I’m out here in Utah I think the whole country is getting some type of weird weather here in the south they’re getting warmer than usual weather where I’m at we’re getting really snowy rainy cold windy weather I always look forward to seeing your videos stay well
We appreciate you always packing your groceries one handed 😂
Here in Atlanta Ga we have not had any snow which is very disappointing. We love the snow but hate the ice. What we currently getting some severe thunderstorms. We need to prepare for possible power outages. I wish we had a generator. GOD BLESS THE SOMERS FAMILY.
Northern ohio was over 60 today… it’s way toooooooearly for us. The trees are budding almost 2 months ahead…… we in ohio made record for the lest amount of snow in Feb. Stay safe Somers
In Eastern AZ our weather has been all over the place… high winds, rain, sleet, snow, sunshine and then it starts all that all over again 3 days later
Our Minnesota winter has been pretty stormy & windy.. can’t wait till spring.. but we needed the snow for moisture in our farm fields
It is around 68 to 75 degrees in Nashville, North Carolina. Love it, some of the flowers and bushes and trees are blooming. Great weather lately, can't complain. Wish you all the best and love the videos.
I know. I live in Winston Salem. I expect snow next week!
We've been getting mostly freezing rain & wind here in Mid-Michigan with just a few inches of snow to make it more slippery. Can't wait till Spring!!! Love your vlogs!!!
We had a doosey in Buffalo NY in December; 52 inches of snow with 80mph winds and minus 30 wind chill. Thankfully we had several days advance warning but still had nearly 50 deaths when it was over. One in a generation storm supposedly. Stay safe!
Happy to be home on a snowy day, it's March 1st here in Kingman Arizona and we have 4 different days of snow and today is the biggest snow fall we have had so far....
I love how you're teaching Garrett what to do. It's like another notch of responsibility.
Where I live in Australia we get cyclones so during summer we get cyclone warnings, flood warnings because we get a lot of rain, wind warnings, storm warnings which can mean lighting, hale etc. That's all I can think of but we get more.
Animal behaviour definitely changes too. When a big cyclone is coming all the birds disappear. It really shows the calm before the storm
We had 3 days of winter storm warning last week. I HAD to be in a town an hour away and I thought I could make it there and back home before the storm hit. Was fine getting there but the storm hit as I left to come home, so me and all the other people out driving had to go 35mph on a normally 70mph highway because it was basically whiteout conditions the entire way. Was SO thankful to get home safely for the remainder of the snow storm!
We got a snow storm in southern Arizona last night , and being from Wisconsin all the snow made me happy.
Love the Somers. Take us to big stock up haul.
Here in west central Maine, we have had a fairly open winter with above normal temperatures except for one spell last month where the night time lows got to -27 and day time highs of 0 to 10 above. Fortunately it only lasted 3 days and we were back in the 30's. We had 6-7 inches of snow Sunday night into Monday, then we had another 4 inches last night and the forecast is calling for 8 to 12 inches on Saturday. We have more snow on the ground now than we've had all winter. When we get snow this time of year, it is usually pretty wet and heavy.
You need to get a roof rake with extension handle to remove snow from roof before it gets so deep and heavy. One year we got just 6” - 12” of snow that ended up partially melting and then refreezing into ice and it nearly brought down our deck. I had to literally go out and chisel some of it off to lessen the weight. It is better to remove occasionally as it comes down, I think, rather than let get too deep and heavy, especially from roof. The southern part of the state of California has had a rare and unusually deep snow recently and too many homes have had roofs collapse leaving already isolated people with no shelter, sad situation for them 😢
Here in Oregon we have a few storms through the Fall and winter, but this year its been more. 9ins in 24 hrs. Starting to lighten up.
We are having springtime daytime temps here in NC near Charlotte. Lots of trees and flowers are blooming. Yards need to be mowed.
60 and 70 degree weather here in North Carolina. No snow, but lots of rain and thunder storm warnings for the next 2 days. We haven't had any snow here in the foothills this winter. Stay safe.
It was very interesting to see how well prepared Alaska is for this type of weather. I was in Fairbanks last week when the winter storm warning was in place. And as Jessica said, the ploughs were out in full force straight after. Mail, schools, everything kept clocking like normal. We only had a small delay on Saturday at the airport before the runway was cleared. Here in Ireland where I am living, 2 inches of snow paralize the whole country. Our storms are mostly high wind and rain storms though. Stay safe wherever you are.
Hello 👋 how are you doing today??
As we get older you forget how fast babies grow seems like yesterday Olivia was a newborn now look at her she's getting so big before you know it she'll be crawling then walking yikes. We're lucky we only got 3 inches yesterday and tot high of 52 supposedly bigger storm Friday. It's been a really weird winter here in the Adirondack Mountains. Good luck Evelyn at your meet, Blessings to all of you. 😊🇺🇲
Southern California mountains are under a state of emergency for all the snow we got and we don't have enough plows. The whole mountain is shut down and people snowed in and unable to get out for days..and days more to dig out. We even lost our grocery store today when the whole roof collapsed. We're all stuck yet just 15 miles from sunny socal. The sun will be out tomorrow and the digging continues.
