    If you don't keep the oil level towards the top of the sight glass you'll get an intermittent oil light.

    I use the shell rotella T6 5w40 synthetic oil in my fz09 2014 . Do you recommend it or is it bad for my bike ?

      Either is fine. 5w-40 will be thinner in colder temps, so if you ride in the freezing cold a lot, then 5w-40 is good. They’ll both be about the same during summer tho
