@ Reaction Check. You mentioned about the Spanish flavour in this song. This kind of music is used for ‘Bull fighting’. The music has the ‘inciting’ effect. Though it is a Spanish music, that came to Spain from Anatolia from a music called ‘Phyrigian’ mode. That was prevalent all through Middle East and Spain got influenced by it when it was occupied by moors for 4 centuries. Later when Spain colonised Latin America this music spread there and hence you can see the influence in jazz also.
But the original seed of this music is available in ‘Shri Rudhram’ a Sanskrit Manthra chant on lord Siva.

One more news about this film. This film was to be made with another name with MGR by Sridhar but some misunderstanding cropped up between them and MGR delayed giving dates for the shooting. Frustrated, Sridhar made some slight changes in the story and made SIVANTHA MANN with Sivaji Ganesan.

Yes the translation is very crude. Translated direct or word by word thus might not make sense in english. L R Eswari has the most unique voice among all the playback singers. Its unfortunate they usually used her voice for cabaret/western dance songs and devotional songs.
