- Phoenix, ARIZONA - My first visit to Arizona and Phoenix is one of the best Mexican food cities in the United States!! Ta' Carbon serves Sonoran Mexican food. Carne Asada (grilled steak) is what Sonoran food is known for. By far, the best Asada Tacos I've ever had. Well worth the visit!

Max you have to try my friend Rosendo’s tamales. We just went skiing in Lake Tahoe and I ate Mexican food everyday without gaining weight. He and his daughter make delicious light food.
